yes, as long as it's GIRO payment, 3 cc bills will work fine

can be same bank, different card too (as long as 3 different card numbers)

I am tempted to switch everything to BOC (altho change tncs, still better deal). UoB is changing tncs bit by bit and over few rounds... after people here have onboarded. Some pple will still stay with them due to inertia. Some people will slowly get used to their bit by bit changes or not notice. Smelly pattern.

Yup so smelly.

They anyhow change terms without due notice. And didnt compensate customers too.

Will stop using all their products in retaliation.

Last time Starbucks changed their rewards too. In the end most pple dont drink anymore ... lol

For the purpose of clocking 3 GIRO for bonus interest, the GIRO payment must be from the uob one savings account (not cc). Need to fill up forms to set up the 3 GIRO payments to be paid from the uob one savings account, then payment will automatically be made if there is sufficient funds in the savings account (not manual payment).

UOB one account monthly bonus interest calculation if you meet both criteria and has at least $50k :

((1.5*10000)+(2.0*20000)+(3.33*20000)-(0.05*50000))/100*[no of days in the month]/365

or simply

$(3.263*[no of days in the month])

An update for Year 2017

Jan 31days = $101.15
Feb 28days = $ 91.36
Mar 31days = $101.15
Apr 30days = $ 97.89
May 31days = $101.15
Jun 30days = $ 97.89

Jul 31days = $101.15
Aug 31days = $101.15
Sep 30days = $ 97.89
Oct 31days = $101.15
Nov 30days = $ 97.89
Dec 31days = $101.15

Meaning the below new T&C ?

1. Installment plan no longer counted
2. Min need 5 transaction
3. GIRO setup for recurring credit card payment

Those would affect the CC rebate but not the savings account interest? Not sure what no. 3 is referring to also. Should be 3 x unique GIRO payments will do, does not need to be CC payment?

That's what I thought so too, 5 transactions is seriously manageable..I use this card for petrol, so the installment thingy doesn't really matters.

For point 3, refer to page 7. I am not sure about that as well as I do not GIRO UOB credit card payment.

For point 3, I read somewhere in page 7 or 8, about some change in the GIRO date e.t.c Not sure how is this affecting the transaction.

IIRC, UOB will just debit the GIRO 1 day earlier before due date. Used to be on due date. Should be no difference to us.

I have some installment plans on UOB One. Already prepared to give up the CC rebate from this year onward due to the plans exclusion.

Yes, this only affects the CC rebate, and not the UOB One interest.
