For sharing, 5 working days before due date the oustanding balance is earmarked to be deducted from UOB account through GIRO.

I got a HSBC bill due 17th April- paid partially on 10th April(12pm) using DBS ibanking- got giro deduction activated on 17th by uob 1 account

Similarly a UOB bill due 7th April , paid partially on 1 April and got giro deduction on 7th by uob 1 account

The deduction is on due date..But billing organisation earmark the amount to be deducted by GIRO five working days before due date. If we pay any amount within this five days, it will be an overpayment .

Unfortunately, one of my GIRO deduction dates falls outside of this month -
2nd May (happened to me once prior to this as well). Is there any way I can ask UOB to include that bill for this month as well

I have at least 4 giro in place just in case thing like this happen or town council rebate which has no fee for a particular month

so uob will not take any responsibility
- ideally-arrange 4th giro as a standby

It is not difficult to setup at least 5 GIRO.

POSB Everyday if you are paying recurring SP bill.
OCBC NTUC Visa has a free annual fee for members. Can use this card to pre pay some bills ie $10
IRAS
NTUC Income and some insurance companies
UOB One CC

For Town Council and Telcos, it's better to setup recurring payment with UOB One.

can but joint account not entitled to bonus hor -
was not stipulated in T&C
but I was told will be given when open joint but only learnt the truth months later when interest not in

Yes. I have a Uob One joint account. I got all the bonus interest etc, have it since last year June, unless they change term recently.

Unless, what you meant is that you already have an individual UOB One acc and then apply for another UOB One which is joint acc...that I am not sure

Hi.. Interested in getting the UOB One Account.. But got some queries..

For the UOB One Account.. 3 GIROs.. How do I go about setting it up? If I want to pay BOC CC with my UOB One account, I fill up UOB or BOC GIRO form? And I submit to who? 2nd, if I want to do GIRO to transfer money to those MSA accounts (POSB/OCBC) is it counted? When will the GIROs take place? Singtel-UOB card is not eligible right?

For the UOB One card, 5 transactions minimum, can I pay my Singtel bill 5 times of $100? or $1 x4 + $496? It is counted right?

Are there any other ways or pitfalls for me to clock the $500 or the GIRO? Are all GIROs eligible?
