Good point, I'll make a note to check they actually do it. I was told this would take effect with my March statement which will be issued on 31st of March. Will post an update on how this goes.

*Update* - statement date remains unchanged. :( Pls post update on your card

wtf..

Applied my uob one card on 02 feb 2017, received my card on 06 feb 2017.

Spent $495 as of 11 Feb 2017.. then statement cut on 11 Feb 2017. Statement date = 12 Feb 2017.

Means i missed out on my quarterly rebates for the first month?

*Edit: My bad, Crimson. I overlooked all your dates are in Feb with a very compressed first billing cycle. I don't think you would miss out on anything. Like AH CHIA said downthread, call CSO and check but I think you should be fine.*

Probably, yes. But still got hope to get two-thirds of the rebate for your first quarter due to the following clause 3.2, if you hit $500 for both second and third months.

3.2. Quarterly Cash Rebate for the first Quarter may be awarded on a pro-rated basis as follows:
i) where the Minimum Amount for a Tier is only met in the third Statement for the first Quarter, then
one-third of the Quarterly Cash Rebate for that respective Tier will be awarded;
ii) where the Minimum Amount for a Tier is only met in the second and third Statements for the first Quarter, then two-thirds of the Quarterly Cash Rebate for that respective Tier will be awarded; or
For the purpose of this clause, the first Quarter means the period of three consecutive statement months commencing from the date on which the Principal Cardmember is first issued a Card.

Firstly, call in to UOB to check on your qualifying quarter.

Then request if u can make up the Feb shortfall spending ($5) in Mar statement due to ur limited Feb month spending window. I.e. Spend min $505 in Mar statement.

This should be sufficient for you to attain 2/3 of the quarterly rebate, if your qualifying quarter is base on calendar quarter (Jan, Feb & Mar). I hope this helps

Hello, is there any good investment products from uob which can be charged to uob one card monthly? Say if every month the investment plan is $200, so I only need to spend another $300 in order to earn the 3.33% interest rate in uob one account?

ILP... if u can opt for those pay 5 year mature 10/15 year type.

but of course there's a risk that the non-guaranteed value is not granted.

Hi guys, I'm thinking of changing to the ONE account from my DBS savings. I have questions about the GIRO requirements.

Is there any minimum sum? Where can I find a list of qualifying GIRO? I currently use GIRO for these stuff -

1. Income Tax
2. Medical Insurance
3. Life Insurance
4. PUB
5. HDB parking

I also have telco bills that are currently linked to another bank credit card, is it better to switch them to the UOB One card or GIRO them?

Some GIRO need min amount to be triggered eg min $10 for CC bill, otherwise no min sum. Any GIRO bill payment using funds from the UOB one account is counted. Just need 3 GIRO per month.
