UOB ONE Account

Hi.. Interested in getting the UOB One Account.. But got some queries..

For the UOB One Account.. 3 GIROs.. How do I go about setting it up? If I want to pay BOC CC with my UOB One account, I fill up UOB or BOC GIRO form? And I submit to who? 2nd, if I want to do GIRO to transfer money to those MSA accounts (POSB/OCBC) is it counted? When will the GIROs take place? Singtel-UOB card is not eligible right?

For the UOB One card, 5 transactions minimum, can I pay my Singtel bill 5 times of $100? or $1 x4 + $496? It is counted right?

Are there any other ways or pitfalls for me to clock the $500 or the GIRO? Are all GIROs eligible?

Uob one account .

Go BOC sign up a BOC form and submit to BOC. They will liase with UOB. It will take very long like up to a month is possible.

You can set up GIRO with SingTel -uob card also. This is UOB card, so sign up GIRO form with UOB and submit to UOB.

For UoB one account bonus interest, just hit 501 bucks per month can Liao.Same billing organisation also can.

Note: this is for the bonus interest only.
Not referring to the cashback for UOB one card.

Selected Cards include UOB Lady’s Card+, UOB YOLO, UOB Debit Card and UOB Direct Visa Debit Card and UOB one card.

SingTel -uob card don't qualify.

Can. All you need to spend on your UOB One card is $500. Zun zun also can.

some bank (i think BOC) do keep records of ur last application for 45 days before you can re-apply, not sure about UOB u can ask them.

My UOB account also was opened in first week of April.. i did both my applications online... the card application was dreadfully slow it came more than 1 to 2 week after my account was open... in the end, my April bonus interest was much lesser even though i hit more than $500 spending ... coz i wanted for my card to reach me first before i deposited money with UOB ONe

my case is they reject my CC first (letter date is 22/4) then approve my account application (26/4)
one account is useless without the CC

Use the ONE Debit card first.

Is not your first cc? Usually no credit history is like this, thought after first card approved the rest is smooth sailing. comparatively, UOB is easier I suppose. they were the one to approve first.

Yes can pay any 3 credit cards, can only opt to pay full amount or minimum balance, need to have min $10.01 payable for giro to trigger. Giro usually earmark the payment about 5 working days before the credit card due date and make the deduction on the due date.

I just converted to self-employed recently. I went to the CPF board to do voluntary contribution so my OA will continue to have enough for HDB loan deduction

While I am handing in the cheque for the voluntary CPF contribution, the lady at the counter said I can fill up the giro application form (download from CPF website) and arranged for a standing order for monthly deduction through giro for the voluntary CPF contribution. The deduction date is the 25th of each month.

That is why I am checking if anyone is also doing it and if it is counted as well...

you can pay telco bills (Stel, M1 or Starhub), fill in the UOB bill payment service form and it is done.

I haven't got mine & I'm damn sure I have $500 with 5 transactions on my One card
