Hello, not sure if anyone encounter any UOB One Account Giro issue so far?

My question is... my Citibank Credit Card payment is due on 12 March. My UOB One got Giro to pay this Citibank Credit Card Bill. Now is 11 March already and it haven’t pay the bill yet. I scare later I wait wait until kenna late payment.

In Feb, this Giro auto pay in 4 Feb. Now already 11 Mar also haven pay. Should I be worried? Should I just go login to UOB and pay instead of waiting for the Giro to autopay?

as long as it is giro linked, it won't be your fault

So for government bill, like town council charges, if Giro through one account considered eligible Giro, Giro through one credit card is not eligible right? Just double checking. Thanks.

No worries when giro is setup. If citibank fail to process, they are at fault. If u dun get your UOB bonus interest as a result, u can complain and claim compensation from citi. I managed to claim some compensation from another bank :s13:

then u also complain to citi to waive any late/finance fee as a result. u win!

UOB side stated will deduct from UOB account 1 or 2 days before the due date (cannot remember correctly). When my first month GIRO deduction, some cc already displayed deduction before due date but Citibank card no. So I worry kena late charge and quickly manually pay first. Then the citi credit card later actually GIRO deducted and credited late, end up I double pay that month's bill.

Would like to check is petrol counted as part of the $500 spending and eligible for the rebate ?

If I used the UOB ONE credit card calculator, petrol is eligible for the rebate.

But if I used the UOB ONE account calculator (calculate my One Card cash rebate), petrol is NOT eligible for the rebate.

Can anyone help to confirm on this ?

For UOB one account, the criteria is min $500 credit card spending... u use debit card of course not counted lah... y use debit when u should be using credit? :s11:

Debit Card Spending is also eligible for Bonus Interest.

I was given the UOB DIRECT Visa Debit Card during the account opening, the Bank Officer did mentioned that the Spending on this card will count towards the $500, however no cash rebate as compared to UOB One Credit Card.

Bonus Interest

40.10 A primary account holder is the person listed as the main applicant in your One Account application (“Primary Holder”).

40.11 A One Account will be eligible for Bonus Interest A if the Primary Holder successfully charges a minimum required sum in a calendar month on retail transactions to such UOB credit card and/or UOB debit card as determined by us, which is issued to the Primary Holder as the main cardholder (“Condition 1”). For this purpose, retail transactions charged by the Primary Holder’s supplementary cardholder(s) will be accrued to and aggregated under the Primary Holder’s principal card. A transaction is successfully charged if it has been posted in the Primary Holder’s statement as falling within a calendar month.

Hi, I just got a YOLO card. Already had a UOB One card and account. Do I have to manually link the YOLO card to UOB One account so it is included in credit card spend? Thanks.

For mths of Nov and Dec when there were no property tax GIRO, my 3 GIRO are income tax, M1 and charity Tzu Chi and I got bonus interest for Nov and Dec.

GIRO is GIRO. It doesn't matter which organization you GIRO'ed to.

Thank you bros. for the prompt reply. I have intention to set up 3 giro link to 3 charity organization as a small token to give-back to community. That will meet the requirements. Haha
