looks like more and more people sharing about their 'misses'. do plan to spend earlier... this month still long to go.

if things stay the same, appeal is capped at once a year.

I love this account. Gives me S$200 plus mthly and good CC rebate too.

rebate, got what rebate?

been using this account as it gave me around $420 per month as one bonus interest.
Then another $5-10 under interest credit

Do update. I called today for my Uob One card but forgot to ask about Uob One account. For One card, since it's the first month of the quarter. Was advised to call to appeal when the quarter is up.

Anyone having problem logging in to UOB app? It asked me to change password because they do not allow special character in password, but my password does not have any special character.

My encounter is worse. My card was in a fraudulent transaction. Amazon UK. No alert or anything. My CC is even disabled for overseas transaction. . Lucky I check. Block the CC and call UOB. They say will investigate and my CC is cancelled to be replaced. Ask then how they allow overseas transaction when it is disabled they just say need to investigate. Will take 45 to 90 days. Worst part the following day all the accumulated amount for UOB CC spending becomes Zero.... almost meeting the spending due to 5.5 sale. Now still waiting for replacement Card

This is the 3rd fraud case I have heard within a month happening to UOB credit cards.

As my cards are not active, I now temporarily block all my UOB credit cards

I think you need to temporarily block card instead of just disable magnetic stripe for overseas use. Most fraudulent transactions are online transactions (which can be overseas). By temporarily blocking card it will disable all online transactions be it local or overseas. Whereas disable magnetic stripe for overseas use will just disable in store transactions overseas.

Temporarily block card:

Disable magnetic stripe for overseas use:

when u get new card, the old card spend will be tag to the new card. jist that while waiting for new cc, u cannot spend.

I kena 1 fradualent transaction last month and uob replaced a new card for me. old cc spend was brought over to new card so all good.

for fradualent transaction, cso says likely it will be called off but of new cc statement shows the fradualent transaction then call cso to raise a dispute. how this helps and po pi yr interest stay intact

Yup. Oversea purchase is disable. I checked before blocking the card as I wonder how a Amazon UK purchase got through and with zero alert. After I called the CSO they cancelled and process to replace my CC. They say refund the fraudulent transactions. But if the investigation say it is not fraud they will claw back the $$.
