Does it mean if I register and deposit today, I just need to maintain the additional funds until 16 Aug? That is less than 4 months in total

weird they used the term aggregate in TnC.

In case case i believe only $50K will be earmarked and the rest can withdraw.
but you run risk of the promo cash credit being clawed back by UOB i guess.

I think most peeps still leave 100K untouched and withdraw some and put in some funds so to maintain the overall MAB 100K so that they will still get the high interest. Thus, situations of the clawing back does not apply as most people choose not to withdraw large amts. Say for example, the MAB in March is 99,990 and end of April, one partakes in the promotion and earmarked 50K since in May onwards, 150K gives one 4% interest rate. The 50K is earmarked and cannot be used, but the 99,990++ can be withdrawn but many choose not to as withdrawing means they will not get the 4%. tnc written but many peeps “adhere” as cash credit is a bonus on top of the high interest.

I have 100k inside now and if I want to enjoy the promo, when do I need to add the $50k and earn the $240 for ear marking for 4 months? Deposit fresh funds of 50k by 29 April?

Yes. That is how it worked for all previous promos.

To enjoy the new UOB One account (EIR 4% starting on 1/5/2024) + join the UOB Big Saving Payout promotion + optimise the deals, one has to:

1. On 1/5/2024, maintain $100K - no action required.
2. On 2/5/2024, top up $50K to an UOB One account. Register for the UOB Big Saving Payout promotion, indicating 50K as the earmark account.
3. On 27/5/2024, top up another $10K. This is to ensure the MAB is $150K for the UOB One EIR 4%.
4. On 1/6/2024, withdraw $10K and maintain $150K.

Note:
Prior to 1/5/2024, the account already has $100K.
For the UOB One EIR 4%, one has to spend $500 on the card + salary credit.
