Exactly. I don't find it attractive. I just applied for 20k, but end up I just top up 50k to make it 150k. I don't bother if have the extra money or not.

just park there and UOB will earmark the amount based on your application. no action needed from you.

make sure the daily balance amount don't dip below March's ADB + amount you have pledged to be earmarked.

I use Paynow to transfer 1600 from my POSB account to my UOB One account with comment set as PAYNOW SALA on 02-May but I checked my account today and it reflects as zero for salary credit as of 04-May. Is this normal? Do I need to put opening and closing double quotes for the PAYNOW SALA comment to make it work?

the purpose of the trsf must be salary payment. Meaning when u login to the banking portal, you will need to select salary payment in the dropdown list before you do the transfer. Inserting the description manually is not considered a valid salary payment.

the purpose of the trsf must be salary payment. Meaning when u login to the banking portal, you will need to select salary payment in the dropdown list before you do the transfer. Inserting the description manually is not considered a valid salary payment.

Purpose of transfer is only available for selection for FAST transfers. When I use my POSB app to Paynow to UOB One, there’s no dropdown list for selecting a purpose. I read the current TnCs for UOB One salary credit and it only mentions GIRO or PayNow, but not FAST.

Fast or PayNow, as long as there is a dropdown list for you to choose the purpose of transfer, it works. Any bank, even BOC.

Yes, I have done it before.
U can always try to transfer a couple of dollars to uob 1 acct and chk the subsequent business day to see whether the amt is recorded in ur UOB TMRW apps.

Since UOB nerfed the interest anyway, Just put your money in money market funds.
