Dropped this card altogether.

Hard to maintain $500 spending and if you exceed but didn't touch the next tier you wasted all rebates on the excess.

Whole year with random month missing the $500 mark due to spending paid to online rebate CC etc.

u got comparable lobangs for less hassle?

i manage to do that for uob one (consistent spend 500, occasionally 1k) and citibank (inconsistent spent) while on installment.

but these are my oversights. if again, i wouldnt risk it again. next time will only use 6 mths installment only if available otherwise no installment anymore.

my spending is 2k monthly. So this card is a perfect match for me. $300 rebate off every quarter on any CC spending is awesome.

is the maximum rebate capped at $300 per quarter? Assuming i spend 2k every month for 3 months in the qualifying quarter.

i travel overseas very often and if i manage to spend 4000, 4000, 4000?

There are only 3 tiered amounts for the quarterly rebate $50, $100 or $300. $300 rebate is for min $2000 in each of all 3 months of quarter. If 4000, 4000, 4000 you can spend the excess above $2000 on other cards eg uob visa signature, earn uni$ which is equivalent to 5% rebate or 4miles/$ for $1000 to $2000 monthly foreign currency spending overseas.

That's true. This card is good if you have a regular credit card spending each month. No frills to earning good rebates. I have been using for a few years when there was the $300 tier.

On 11 Oct, I received a credit of $2.07 and the description is PAYMT THRU E-BANK/HOMEB/CYBERB (EP43).

Anyone has any idea what is this?

Thank you in advance.

That is a bill payment from your uob bank account to your uob credit card via uob internet banking. Check your uob bank account for the debit

if i want to convert my bills to installments, what are the benefits that i will be missing out?

i.e $3000 convert to $500 for 6 months, meeting the 1st tier cash rebate.

Convert at merchant or convert by uob after the transaction was made? The latter incur fees. Note you need to make another 2 transactions each month to meet requirement for the rebate

Can be same merchant. They just want 3 separate transactions.

But isn't it easier for you if you just go once a month to charge $2000 and buy like two random $1 item or something?

I mean if your skin thick enough then okay lar.. But haha.. I will be paiseh to ask them to charge this way. =:p
