Depends on your spending profile, I've heard people being requested to cancel their unused cards in order to get waiver. All of them had >3 uob cards.

Ps I mean ppl say 3 or less card UOB will wavie annual fees.

Yeah, my husband had to travel in 2days and told them that he wanted to use it while overseas and they rushed out and sent to him via courier on the next day.

This seems v ironic - ever since ONE CARD was called "Singapore's most generous rebate card" , it has became less and less generous.

With effect from 1 Feb 2017, 1) Monthly instalments under 0% Instalment Payment Plan, SmartPay will not qualify as card transactions and such spend will not go towards the minimum spend and will not be awarded cash rebate. 2) A minimum of 5 transactions per month must be made to earn cash rebate and will take effect on your new qualifying quarter. Please note that there will be changes to the UOB One Card terms & conditions. Details at uob.com.sg/one

Yup, UOB seems to be pretty generous compared programmes offered by the other bank like DBS, OCBC, etc.

With this exclusion in by next year, likely the next best generous is BOC?

Im thinking insuranxe should be fine coz is not installment but monthly transaction, like telco bills just that the amt is fixed. Better to double check with their CSO.

Hmm, how about gym/club memberships? Anyway I've contacted UOB to clarify, wait for their reply. Also asked them if the new exclusions still count towards the $500 min spend required to earn higher interest rates on the associated UOB One account. I think it should still count, but just wanna be sure.

I been using for Fitness First since card was launched, its ok.
