It should count but there is 10% admin fee for using credit card to pay cab fare in the cab. To get around the fee you can link the card to justgrab/uberx and make booking and payment from the app.

thanks for the reply Trazora,
Visa paywave also got admin fee?what if i use one card nets for comfort taxi? still considered spending towards $500 in uob one account?
Because for uob one account debit card nets payments is not included for the $500 montjy spending.

Hi guys,

If I have made GIRO arrangement for the UOB One CC, is the annual fee also deducted via GIRO?

Yes, whatever amount under outstanding balance will be deducted if full payment option is selected. So keep a close watch on the levy of credit card annual fees when nearing card anniversary month.

1. Is there a fixed month of deduction for UOB One CC annual fee? Or is it the month when you first applied for the CC?

2. If let's say it's too late and the annual fee has already been deducted via GIRO, is it possible to call the bank and reverse it?

1. End of the calendar month when you get the card.
2. Possible but subjected to UOB discretion.

More for home loan quantum. Banks can choose to include any outstanding balance on statements to calculate TDSR. I am also AA with full 2000 marks, but the amount of loan that can be given after TDSR calculation is more important to me. :)

Regarding this promo, any idea where to find the full tnc? Does overseas Apple Pay txn count?

Yes. You will get the rebate in the statement generated in the 4th month.

Something must be wrong with UOB. The CSO told me I am not eligble for the $300 rebate because their cut off is on the 12th every month (default).

I applied and received the card on 28 June, which they claimed was after the cut off, so my quarter rebate is immediately prorated downwards (basically, CSO is claiming that because I applied after 12th, I am ineligible for the max rebate by default). Ridiculous!

Now I see your cut off is 2nd every month, makes me wonder what UOB is doing :frus:
