So for this card, it's either you spend $501 or you spend $2001 in 3 consecutive month

If you spend $499, u get zero miles or rebate
If you spend $501, u get the same rebate as someone who spend $1999 for 3 months
If you spend next 3 months $5000, $5000, $499, your cash rebate = $0

Is my understanding right?

I guess it's time to say good bye to the once "best cashback" card and switch to other options

What i mean is if

April - $5,000 spent
May - $20,000 spent
June - $499 spent

In this case, I get zero rebate right??

April - $499 spent
May - $499 spent
June - $499 spent

I get zero rebate also right?

Can neg personalised tiering?
In your particular example, which one of the month is 499 and the other 2 month are so much more, u can try negotiate at least to consider the $499 as meet $500. No guarantee can work. But someone when spend $1999, missed by a bit manage to get, but not every time and not everyone.

When spend in the pattern as in your example, it only show that the customer not monitor or not understand the rebate system… the tnc can not give u anything.
