Anyone knows when the quarterly rebate will be credited? I charged $800 per statement period for last 3 statements, but still have not received any rebate.

Credited on the fourth month. Info stated on the bill statement, no?

3 percent for all purchase wo making minimum? hehe.. think shd be not. How abt spending: $301, 801, 1502 for the 3 mths? 10+26.67+50 ?

You will find in the condition for 3.3% rebate it must be consecutively 3 months spending of either min $300, $800 or $1500.

But the best part about this card is 2% rebate for all overseas spend! No min. spending required! Though cap at $5000:s13::s13:

any idea if the spending & 3 transactions for principal and supplementary cards can combine?

read the T&C but can't find the info

Hmm if combine, how the rebate split? Or all rebate goes to principal card? :s8:

The quarterly rebate is based on your personal quarter, not calendar quarter.

Anyone can help me on my query? I know I have accumulated $80 of rebates, so on my next qualifying period, I only have $20 of outstanding bills, and the rebate transaction showed auto deduct of $20. So where's the remaining $60 rebate? It's now showing zero balance and no excess rebate credited. Does it means the $60 is forfeited becoz there's no outstanding bill? Doesn't seem correct right?

Doesnt sound right. Most likely you failed to fulfill some criteria. Call the hotline better.

Doesn't sound correct indeed. I have confirmed that the $300 requirement is based on $300 of spendings, not $300 net bill.

I called the hotline. The cso says the excess will be credited to offset outstanding balance next month. Weird they dun credit directly to my account. Have to wait next month to see. Usually I pay a lump sum now and then but seems like better to wait for yr next statement for this card

Has anyone tried using this for paying your car insurance in instalments?

Will it qualify for cashback?

Thanks.

The intention is for u to spend thats why the rebate is structured in a way that u must spend to use the rebate. The banks earn each time merchants swipe the card

most of us should be aware that UOB calculate the rebate based on the post date, not transaction date.

The post date can be 3-4 days later depending on the merchant. Therefore, better have enough buffer towards end of the month.

BTW, i noticed that some merchant is able to post the transaction on the same day, one of them in breadtalk.

Therefore, those who want to chiong and hit the $800 or $1500 spending, can do so at breadtalk.

any other merchant that able to post on the same day? please share.

some of those that appear to be same day posting:
- bengawan solo
- singtel online bill payment
- SPC petrol (not consistent, sometimes same day sometimes next day, but about 66% of the time is same day)

I think quite "petty". I sued manhattan card for my boy's hospitalization charge in March, that max out the rebate. since then i did not/seldom use the crd again.

I was surprised to see that I got $200 credit in the card when i checked early this month.

that's the left over from the last quarter,if you want to fully use it up,then spend on the 3rd month of your quarter, once the bill comes out the rebate will be deducted in the next month so you just pay off the rest. that way you can clear it off and cut the card!

just gotten the UOB One Card this month. logged onto my ibanking account and was surprised to see that there was no option to pay my telco bill with the card (i do not have any savings account with UOB)

called the CSO and was shocked to be told that I am unable to pay bills with my credit card via ibanking :s22: kind of funny since I am able to do so with all the other banks...

so how do I get about to paying my bills (StarHub, Singtel, SP services)? anyone able to advise?

**Sorry if this question has been asked before**
