You should get 5% on the first $2000 spent for the usual rebate and additional 5% on the first $2000 on grab. These two can be the same spend or mutually exclusive.

Additional 5% for grab(cap at $100 per month) can be included on the 1st $2000 spending.
That’s the reason up to 10% cashback on grab (5% tier + 5% additional)

I have set up giro for my UOB One CC bills to deduct directly from UOB one account. In the upcoming payments section > Giro, this have already been set up since 15 Aug. However, my CC bills are still not paid via Giro. I have been observing for 2 months. Can I check what is the issue here?

You can find it in your statement under Rewards Summary, it should be the last sentence:
*Your qualifying period for quarterly rebates is (1) XXX to XXX (2) XXX to XXX (3) XXX to XXX and (4) XXX to XXX

But you have to be careful as the qualifying quarter/months mentioned above is your statement quarter/months. Your actual spending quarter/month shall be a month earlier.

Yup I have. Amount is not the problem. I just contacted the bank and found out that GIRO deduction is on the due date. I kept monitoring and I settled the bill just 2-3 days before the due date cos I didn’t want to incur late charges. That’s the reason why the GIRO did not take effect bcos the payment is already settled 🤦🏻

If use for public transport with Apple pay, consider as $500/MTH contactless spending? And if use the physical card consider contactless?

Discussion in other threads but see no one post here.

Wef 30 Nov UOB Yolo no more rebate for Grab topup. But UOB One seems still will have. But have some extra exclusion (so far don't seem to affect my spending).

Latest TnC for UOB One card is here :

With effect from 30 November 2019, please be informed that additional transactions will be excluded from the awarding of cash rebates. For details, click here for the UOB One Card full terms and conditions.

I checked my last year UOB1 card annual fee. It was charged in the 1st month's statement date of the new quarter. That means if unsuccessful get waiver and intend to cancel, will have to forgo the 1st month spending. Is it possible to call in, get answer earlier? Usually CSO only take action after the fee been charged to account right?
