Haha, so is topup to grabpay excluded? TnC doesn’t explicitly excluded it but afraid there are some hidden ones like MCC code exclusions and I don’t know what MCC code grab topup is.

Just discovered that UOB Grab main page does not show anymore about top up.

previously
“ Get an additional 5% in Grab Rides, foods and top up when you qualify for your
Quaterly cash rebate...

Now
“ Enjoy an additional 5% rebate on Grab and UOB Travel Planner (excludes online, flight only bookings and relevant taxes) transactions when you qualify for your quarterly cash rebate, and and enjoy up to S$2,400 cash rebate in a year!

You should call the hotline to check which months falls in your quarter. Some of us when we receive the card, the first month is already over. So the $500 could be your second month instead of your first month.

Ok.will give them a call soon.
Thanks.

TnC states that “Grab transactions with description “GRAB*” under Grab Taxi Holdings Pte Ltd and its affiliated companies” are eligible for additional rebate. So I guess as long as is GRAB related, it is counted?
In my statement, Grab top up are stated as “Grab Singapore”.

Think top up grab no longer eligible to rebate? but not sure counted as min spending or not. Better to have more people to call CSO to confirm.

From the t&c, looks like grab can earn additional rebates but whether it can be included to meet min spending is another thing ..

What is "additional transactions"?

From Uob website:
With effect from 30 November 2019, please be informed that additional transactions will be excluded from the awarding of cash rebates. For details, click here for the UOB One Card full terms and conditions.

If you clicked on the link and actually Ctrl+F for 30 November, you'd find these

Section 5 used to be a bit shorter. 'additional transactions' were added to it where they say (with effect from 30 November 2019)

Anyone know if the rebate cycle for Grab counts on quarterly basis same as the UOB quarterly rebate? Next one will then be Dec? Continuing topup but not able to confirm until the rebate comes.

Additional rebate for grab awarded same time as your uob one card quarterly rebate.
