Hi all,

My three months in a quarter are months ending 2nd Feb, 2nd March and 2nd April respectively.

For the last month of the quarter (month ending 2nd April), does spending 2k via. grab top up before 16th March qualify for the quarterly 5% basic rebate and additional 5% rebate for grab?

And also does that spending qualify for min. 500 spending for UOB one bonus interest for month ending 31st March?

Let say, my prudential ins is having 2.4k premium yearly and due in June. Can i cardup, and make payment early like Apr pay $800, May pay another $800, and June pay the last $800. By doing this, i can spread my spending to 3months, try to get the $2k quarterly spend on uob one.

* I don't have cardup now and don't really knows how it works.

Will this workable?

hello, maybe you misread. quarterly spend is $1.5/$3/$6k

Yes if the 2k (min 5 transactions) posted by 15 Mar.

Can I check for those who spend 2k grab top up preciously, the addtional rebate will be 300 posted into your account? Maybe can consider the last blast of fire.. Go top up my grab to 2k this month

IIRC it goes into the CC to offset outstanding.

It will depend on the mcc of grab top up, but highly likely to be excluded from uob one account and uob one credit card.

Insurance payments will be excluded from the awarding of cash rebate on UOB One Card but * will continue to earn bonus interest on UOB One Account * . It will not be counted as minimum sum spend, and will not be counted for cashback rebate.

If you're converting UOB money to Grab money, it will not count.

Grab car, Grab food, where you actually spend money, will count.

For Cardup, how do they know you're paying for your own policy? Need to input your own policy number or something right?

Just uob one credit card rebate, but still consider eligible spending on uob one account

Can use CardUp to pay for Prudential premium. To Prudential it is just a bank transfer.

Hi Trazora, have you managed to successfully stop the recurring CC payment and switch to cardup? Can share how it was done? The pru website only allows you to either switch cards or submit a recurring bank transfer, and both have to be a legit bank. Thanks!!

Just pay at least say 2 weeks before the recurring CC payment, to allow the payment to be processed then recurring payment will not occur.

do you mean to ask cardup to pay the insurance company (e.g. prudential) 2 weeks before the premium due date?

is it possible to instruct the specific date to pay each month?
