Grab top up dated 18 mar 2020 is still under mcc 7399. So that means it is still eligible for quarterly rebates even though T&C says grab mobile wallet top up r excluded but the mcc 7399 is not in the exclusion list? So confused. UOB staff also cannot give definite answer.

Could be you are eligible to get the 5% Cash Rebate, BUT confirm no additional 5% Cash Rebate. As before 16 Mar 2020, any GRAB Top-up and earn up to 5%+5%= 10% with at least 5x transaction and you meet the minimum spending per month in per Quarter.

Which mean after 16 Mar 2020, if you top-up 5 X $500.00 Grab Mobile Top-up, still can earn $300.00 cash rebate Quarterly?

Yet to verify from anyone here.:s12::s12::s12::s12::s12:

Announcement: With effect from 16 March 2020, please be informed that selected transactions such as Grab mobile wallet top-ups, wire transfers, payments to Non-Financial Institutions (such as crypto-currencies etc), quasi-cash and more on UOB Cards will NOT be considered as eligible spend to earn bonus interest on UOB One Account or bonus miles on KrisFlyer UOB Account.

I saw that too....perhaps my English is very weak that I can't understand more if UOB are talking to the entire cash rebate system...

Can I confirm if insurance transaction will still qualify for credit card minimum tier spending? (E.g $500/$1000/$2000) I understand we don’t qualify for rebate payout

You already know don’t qualify for rebate payout, so of course don't qualify for credit card minimum tier spending.

Insurance payments on UOB One Card will be excluded from the awarding of cash rebate but continue to be considered eligible spend to earn bonus interest on UOB One Account.

so it is included in the min $500 spend to get bonus interest on UOB One Account, not the card rebate.
