2.25% code payment for insurance, 1.9% code payment for rental, both done on the same BOC card

will try using the 2.25% code for rental payment on UOB card this month, I had rental payment made on UOB card without using any promo code (in mid 2019), that was tagged under 7399

Why not try ipaymy for 1.99% fee using APR199 promo code, mcc 7399 for all payment type?

suggest dont risk paying rental with CU on UOB ... unless CU can chop chop confirm MCC is tagged as 7399

You looking under the rewards summary? The Grab rebate will be credited to the card at end of 4th statement month

The rebate of $300 in my statement is shown as "ONE CARD ADDITIONAL REBATE".

Under cash rebate expiring is showing $300, expiry 31 Mar 2022.
Why is this so ?

The "ONE CARD ADDITIONAL REBATE" already credited is the additional rebate for Grab.

As for your quarterly rebate showing under the rewards summary (with an expiry date), you need to spend on the card. The quarterly rebate will be used to offset your bill.

Grab top up dated 18 mar 2020 is still under mcc 7399. So that means it is still eligible for quarterly rebates even though T&C says grab mobile wallet top up r excluded but the mcc 7399 is not in the exclusion list? So confused. UOB staff also cannot give definite answer.

I paid my condo fee on 1 April via Cardup, just to try out. After this transaction being posted into my UOB One card, I called UOB on 3 April and learnt that the MCC of this transaction is 6513, which is excluded after 16 March. This is despite of Cardup's confirmation on 24 March :'Yes, you will be eligible for the bank's cash rebates via CardUp.'

Launching complaint on Monday.

Emailed cardup regarding condo & MCST fees amd received response below today.

Given your experience, not sure whether can trust..

Following UOB's updated Terms and Conditions governing their UOB ONE Card (effective from 16 March 2020 onwards), we confirm that your payments on CardUp scheduled with this card, including Condo Fees will continue qualifying for cashback according to your minimum monthly card spend.

Can ipaymy or cardup do the following?

I have an insurance which i need to pay in December which is around $2000+
Can i somehow split this payment into 3 months so that I can receive $200 rebate from UOB one card?

2 months ago, the 1.99% promo code foe IPAYMY also has different MCC.

oh no... that's not cool. my scheduled MCST payment is due in a few days time, i'll email them now to confirm... otherwise i'm switching to ipaymy too.

actually if your payment is shown as processing, I suggest you email them now. They can do a full refund to the card as long as the money is not transferred yet. I've done it before.... make them full refund and if you still have time, make another payment via cardup and make sure they charge under the correct MCST.

Launched complaint to Cardup and received following reply:
'The refund has been processed and you will receive the funds back within 5 business days. We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this.'

Going to email Ipaymy to ask if I use APR199 promo code, what will be MCC and will try Ipaymy this month accordingly.
