Hahaha but you know what, I trust you guys much more than the CSOs...
But you don't even need to ask the CSOs. Most of what you're asking are stated very clearly on the official website. You are able to get some of these answered even before checking the T&C.

there's some truth in what you said. some CSOs don't know the product well enough to answer some of the queries, especially when it is not explicitly mentioned in TnC.

one example is the cardup/ipaymy episode...some CSOs still reply it's a pre-payment service and not eligible for cashback w/o checking the MCC.

then again, what you listed are generally straightforward eligible (bills, retail, etc.) and already mentioned in the TnC.

Just want to check, is ipaymy & cardup for insurance payment applicable for UOB ONE CC 5% cashback? (as long as min 5 transactions & min 2k spend per statement month, per quarter)
Tried to email UOB for a written response, but till now no reply...
Much appreciated!

Is this card recommended if my monthly expenditure is relatively low? As the cash back I see is for $500+. Trying to steer away from my AWSM card now. :o

decent only if you can spend $500 every month of the qualifying quarter.

I see... Probably tough for me at the moment. So is the EVOL a better choice or I should check out other bank's offerings instead.
