This happened to me.

Technically speaking, if you spend exactly $2000 each month, you will get your $300 cashback rebate after one quarter, but you only get $100 cashback rebate after 2nd quarter.

Your first $300 cashback will offset the 4th month's statement making you "spend" just $1700. So the "spend" for months 4, 5 and 6 is actually $1700, $2000 and $2000. So you get $100 (3.3%) instead of $300 (5%).

No lah, rebate does not affect spending, spending affected only if there is refund. If this happened to you, you have all the right to dispute with UOB.

anyone ordered food via grab delivery recently and paid using One card but yet the transaction did not show 'Grab' as part of the description and the bank says it's not eligible for the 5% bonus rebate?

just last month I did an order and it shows GRAB* A-2U4BTWDWWFDH SINGAPORE SG which was ok (eligible), but suddenly last week I did another order and it only shows A-35FL985WWESR Singapore SG which the bank suddenly says not eligible cos no mention of 'GRAB' in the description

UOB One Card is a Visa card. So each day's simplygo will be posted as 1 transaction. So if you take bus/mrt on 5 different days, you will hit 5 transactions.

Do you guys receive any confirmation email from UOB after successful card application? UOB sent a SMS saying the application was successful, but I haven't heard any news since. No instruction, no info when the card will be delivered, etc.

Didn't know credit card installment are not counted as qualifying transaction.

Long gone is their promise on same-day delivery.
Instant approval is also a myth nowadays.

DBS can send me card within one day of cancelling due to fraud. Uob takes 5 working days....

Few years back UOB physical token run out of battery they say cannot issue replacement at branch and must wait for them to mail out which takes a week. One week cannot do anything. They really put themselves above customers.

Mean while, DBS has the self service machine to get token replacement at certain branches

I just received the card today. 4 days after the successful application.

Btw, I have a few more questions. Hope any gurus here could help. The billing cycle will be based on my approval date right? I got the approval on 10/3 so my 1st statement will be 10/3 to 9/4? And my quarterly spendings will be 10/3 to 9/6?
