I noticed this month (December) that purchases at cold storage.. giant.. no longer get posted on the same day 😪 so don't keep the last transactions to the last day... they might get posted only next month.

"AXS pay+earn" charges 2.5%, so for $500, you are charged additional $12.50 .....

Pay $12.50 "fee" to get $400+ bonus interest per month if you have $100k and monthly salary deposit in UOB one account makes good sense to me ....

With the new UOB one card change (i.e. maximum of 3.33% rebate), the net net interest (for UOB one card) is only 3.33 % - 2.5% = 0.83%. Oh well. :(

what's this maximum 3.33% rebate about? I thought we can get 3.33% + 5% for some merchants for $500/$1000 spend per month?

This UOB one card is best used with UOB one account to get the bonus interest ...the card's rebates by itself isn't fantastic, except if you buy from Dairy Farm groups of stores regularly ....

No need, any payment also can ....

I put here under UOB one card becos if you meet spend criteria, can get additional rebates since 7-11 is under Dairy Farm ... also since it is start of the month, need to clock spending already :)

Trick is to buy from 7-11 those promo (eg. $1 specials), fixed price stuff (eg. Sunshine bread), in-house brand (Meadows tidbits, I love the truffle potato chips)
5103554.jpg

and discounted ready-to-eat meals (25% off when they are near due date) ....
