you could use the credit card to pay axs to get some credit so can earn interest with your cash instead of using paynow.

paynow is not counted. To clock the spend, use it for groceries, dining out, petrol, etc.
I don't have credit card, I only have UOB one Debit card, and I use it to paid for season parking and town council through axs but seen like it was excluded from the $500... Complicated. I got 3 giro and credit my salary in. Now scratching head for the $500 spending. My petrol and groceries usually settle at Malaysia...

payment via AXS clearly excluded. You need to read the TnC

Don't want to be mean here, you don't use other credit/debit cards for rebates or interest? AXS payment is an ineligible transaction in almost every cards I know of (even BOC cards) that award rebates or interest...

one question, for the one account bonus interest i have meet to min 500 card spend. I made an online transaction $200 on 26 Feb but it was post dated to 1 mar by the bank. does this $200 count towards my feb or march min. card spend?

why did the bank not post my card transaction within the calendar month, it had 3 days to do it but it only posted my transaction on 1 march. makes me think its a scam as the delay resulted in the loss of bonus one account interest.
It is a lesson I think everyone has already learnt before, myself included - NEVER spend near the end of the month in case it is not posted in time. You can try to appeal, UOB is usually quite generous in awarding the interest back if you appeal, especially if you are a first timer...

UOB only allows one appeal per (calendar) year, as shared by CSO to me before.

dunno why got such a policy but just take note...

and yes, quite pissed when they take like 3, 4 days to post when it is usually done in 2 days (not counting weekends). makes us wonder if they're deliberately shorting our eligible monthly spending.

another thing I noticed these two months is they no longer post on the same day for merchants like Cold Storage, Giant which they used to in the past. dunno if it's just my card or everyone else's.

any idea what are the merchants that still post within the same day currently?

last time it was postulated that merchants that use UOB card machines to process transactions will get theirs posted on the same day but it looks like it was really just a wild guess after all.

Thank you, I take a quick look on the TNC and found the axs state it was under exclusion, may I know usually what will be include in daily life spending for most of the family with kids? How about using paynow? Can we use paynow for season parking and council fees?
HDB Season Parking and Town Council fees are under MCC 9399 .... excluded by most major credit cards

posting is determined by the merchant and not the bank leh . Anyway, even for merchants like Fairprice, if the transaction is on a Sunday or public holiday, posting can be 3 days later (usually 2 days on a business day).

It's ok, not really mean to me...
I didn't studies much about those cards, previously I only have one dbs credit card, which after that dbs help convert it to yuu card, and I didn't check on the Cashback nor interest, just use and pay...

Last years my bro introduce me UOB amex card use to reload grabpay wallet, which then I use it quite often but since UOB reduce the Cashback % then I cancelled it.

And hear UOB one is good and get high interest, so I jump ship to UOB one cause UOB seen more convenient in my living area compare with dbs because more ATM. So Instead of credit, I have the debit ATM card for UOB one, then think to use that first and try, but didn't look much on TNC yet and only look at it since yesterday, seen like a lot merchant was excluded so a bit wondering what u guys spending to reach $500 per month to secure the interest for level 1, level 2 that 3 giro / credit salary in I got no issues..

yup what you describe is true. if the card issuer is also the merchant acquiring bank, its usually posted by end of day / same date.

Wow I didn’t know about it.

my 1st appeal in end 2021 - 2022 when I short of 2 digits spending due to refund, the CSO told me only able to appeal for $50 quarterly rebate instead of $200 and I lost few hundreds cos I maxed out my Shopee additional 5% rebates.

weeks ago I just appealed again for another quarter rebates as I did not hit the minimum 3 transactions but spending no issue. the CSO assist me and got a quarterly and additional rebates appeal approve. Now waiting for it to reflect in my statement.

your "2 digits" short caused you to lose the entire $200? I thought if you fall short you should still be able to meet the next tier which is $100. how come the CSO so nasty only able to appeal for $50?

anyway, I also lost my 5% rebate (totalling around $10+) for one particular month because a refund on the last day of the month caused the total spend to become < $500. I ended up not using the card for the next 2 months since I can't get any rebate at all from that quarter. and I couldn't appeal again because the previous quarter I had successfully appealed against another screw-up refund.

nowadays I just spend the min. $500 and not hoping to maximize their rebate anymore... just go for the easiest tier.

opps my bad for wrong info, I double check and realized CSO is correct.

my spending was $428, $3397, $4640.
$50 quarterly is correct and I lose out $200 additional rebates on Shopee.
