oh ok, haha. Didnot think of that option.
I guess there are already many ppl in a existing thread, so can get faster suggestions also?
Btw, any tips? what I can spend on to hit the qualifying min spend for the signup promo? Got a few cards already incl the uob one card, so the clock is ticking haha

just ask if not sure. that's what forum for. cannot afford to read the whole entire thread. those not willing to share. you just skip their comment and move on those willing to share just thank them for sharing :s13::s12:

I have a few hundred dollars of cashback stuck in my UOB One card and I'm no longer using it. Any suggestions on how to essentially transfer the amount out to my bank account?

Called UOB and request a transfer to your UOB account if possible.

Else, top-up your NETS Flashpay card as one way to transfer your money out .....

I plan to donate some money to charity via giving.sg using the One card. Would that count for the "minimum spend of S$500/ $1,000/ S$2,000 per month" thing?

I think donations are not eligible... read the tnc it should be listed under one of the MCC codes.

I know travel insurance is, and my guess is car insurance will be
Think anything associated with insurance will be, the thing is this under singtel, the payment page is also same as singtel bill but underwritten by GE.

Already tried asking for a transfer to my One account but CSO said cannot.

The NFP method is to top up then refund+sacrifice the NFP card?

NFP max is $500 although I always top-up up to $490. Somehow, I heard of one case of $500 having problem in getting refund on ATM and have to go NETS head office to do refund.

If you intend to go this path, try to use an old NFP card that is expiring. I just did a refund+sacrifice 2 months back ....

If you drive, I think $400+ can quite fast use up for parking and ERP ....

This is the first time I have ever had a credit card application rejected, but they opened a bank account for me. The whole reason why I applied for the account in the first place was to also use the UOB One credit card. Anyone else had their card application rejected before?

the last (and only) time i got rejected for a line of credit account, i wondred why and when i checked my credit score, i realized it was HH.. LOL.. probably coz i "played" too much liao... tamed down my "playing" and after 3-4 months, my credit score went back to AA and the account got approved after i re-applied.

Thank you! And can double confirm if sup card spends 300, main card spends 700, we will enjoy the 3.33% of the total 1000 spent and get 100 cash rebate every quarterly?
yes, note that sup card spend is counted as 1 transaction so need min 4 transaction on main card.

Have applied for Uob one card since late December onwards until now still pending documents even though I sent in supporting documents via email about 5 times. I have other credit cards from Maybank , OCBC and Citibank etc never encounter this kind of lack of response and update for a seemingly simple credit card application. Call in many times and every single time the CSO promise to get someone to call me back next day but it has never happen yet. The call back service must be a farce.

Quite disappointed as I thought UOB is a decent bank and I am on-boarding for priority banking. Had much better experience with Maybank and OCBC.
