UOB one card

Have applied for Uob one card since late December onwards until now still pending documents even though I sent in supporting documents via email about 5 times. I have other credit cards from Maybank , OCBC and Citibank etc never encounter this kind of lack of response and update for a seemingly simple credit card application. Call in many times and every single time the CSO promise to get someone to call me back next day but it has never happen yet. The call back service must be a farce.

Quite disappointed as I thought UOB is a decent bank and I am on-boarding for priority banking. Had much better experience with Maybank and OCBC.

They ask you to upload multiple documents (like latest 3 month payslips), but type they request is jpeg or png. That’s ridiculous. I also submitted via email and called CS, but no one can confirm whether they received it or not

I have tried all combinations already when I sent in via email , pdf and jpg n PNG. It’s the way these applications are handled that is sorely lacking. They don’t response or check and tell you whether what you send is correct or not , just radio silent and nothing. No fixed person to handle a case number or application.

are you existing UOB customer with internet banking access? The oher day I applied for a UOB cc and the card number was displayed in my internet banking/mobile the next business day and the card in my letter box the 3rd business day and the PIN arrived 1 day later

He is a new customer like me. We will definitely won’t be eligible to 300 new-to-bank customers at this pace of processing lol

i am an existing customer actually for long time with saving account just that i do not hold a main UOB card as i usually use maybank and OCBC CC. Also applied for my card using the app and all these happen lor.

I also have saving account, but that doesn’t count when u apply for cc. If u have a cc, it’s very easy to get the second, third cc. But first cc always takes some time, even though u have an account with them

yes you are right, i miss out last month for my one card bonus. hope this month i can get the card,

If I use axs to pay for my season parking, council fees will it eligible to count under the $500 expenses? If yes, how long it will reflect on the tracker? The reason is I paid with the UOB one Debit card on 4 March and now it still never reflect under the tracker for the $500 spending...

no would not be counted. in the tnc it was stated the exclusions would not be part of eligible transactions, and therefore would not count the min spend either, and also would not earn cashback.

one question, for the one account bonus interest i have meet to min 500 card spend. I made an online transaction $200 on 26 Feb but it was post dated to 1 mar by the bank. does this $200 count towards my feb or march min. card spend?

why did the bank not post my card transaction within the calendar month, it had 3 days to do it but it only posted my transaction on 1 march. makes me think its a scam as the delay resulted in the loss of bonus one account interest.

you could use the credit card to pay axs to get some credit so can earn interest with your cash instead of using paynow.

paynow is not counted. To clock the spend, use it for groceries, dining out, petrol, etc.
