I will know end of August (my last quarter is May - Jul).

am not very confident the bank bothers to resolve it. more like leaving it to customers who bother to appeal/lodge a complaint.

we'll see..
An update that I think the issue is resolved, but I'm still shortchanged 30 cents of rebate somewhere.

30 cents means around $6 worth of purchase. Can't seem to identify the specific transaction(s).

I always buy from 7-11 as it will be posted on same day, so easy to keep track ....

But 7-11 no more $1.00 special for drinks, now is $1.20!

I realised yesterday morning that I only had 4 out of 5 transactions. Went to 7-Eleven and bought a $1 drink but it didn't post by end of day. 😭

Guess I'll need to appeal when my rewards cycle is over.

I remembered got 1 time i still need to clock $50 more to hit the minimum spend on the last day of the statement date. Checked back my previous statments, noticed I have 3 previous merchants which previously posted on the same transaction date. Don don donki, starbucks and giant supermarket. So rush to spend at all 3 merchants in the early morning.

In the end, none of the 3 transactions posted on the same day when you need them to. $150 posted to next statement month. 😡

do you guys charge your FCY travel/online purchases to this card to hit the rebates?

wondering if it's a wise choice vs using ICBC card or youtrip.

will the UOB 3.33% win over ICBC's 3% cashback and better exchange rates or will youtrip's exchange rates win. have some FCY spending and and thinking hard now. sigh
It depends. If you have nothing else to charge during the month and for other 2 months you have enough to charge, then you can use FCY for that month.

uob charge 3.25% fx fees, so uob one card not so worth it. icbc charge 2.5% fx fees, so still get nett 0.5%

I was falling short of the 500 spend, so I just did a prepayment of M1 bill. This UOB One 500 spend is very stressful. I think after 1 qtr, I will not follow this strategy.

if you buy a fair bit from Shopee and use Grab , $500 should be quite reachable (considering the extra 5% - it does make sense buying from these 2 using UOB One). Plus SP bill - likely can hit $500

I thought wallet top-up including grab and shopee doesn't qualify for the uob one 500 minimum spend.

Spend on things u need to spend like utilities, phone/internet bills, groceries, hawker food, transport (simply go), petrol (if u drive) and get back 400+ if u have 100k and salary, means u only spend less than $100 per month on all the above, so worth it and remember this interest will not be forever so enjoy it while it lasts...

yes for the bills listed above
Ok thanks. Supposedly HP/internet bill should be ok.

after first 2 month of clocking $1k on UOB card, will only be clocking the bonus category then. (Food and travel). Since all other spending is super low miles rewards.

Is it true, quaterly cashback only reflects when there is outstanding amount?
Was told by the CSO online

E.g. i fulfil 2k x3 months, next months i didnt spend any, the $200 cashback wont be reflected?
