SP should qualify for spend. Even give 1% extra.

You sure it is SP that did not make it ?

I am not sure about recurring using SP app. I usually do one-time and at TP office.
he got his rebate for $1k tier already, not sure why he think SP not eligible though

sp rebate is 4.33% . So let’s say I spent $350 on shoppee for 3 months and $200 on sp bill I would be considered I didn’t hit $500 qualifying spent. That’s what I understand . So I won’t get any cashback.

lets say I hit $500 on shoppee for 3 months and $200 on sp bill I will get 3.33% and acb for $500. I will get 4.33% for sp bill

Hi, would like to check how UOB counts their application date for new to UOB sign up spending promo. Is it based on the SMS or the statement month (which the latter seems to be based on the activation date)?

I believe your card was approved in August (you should have receive an SMS from UOB, and then subsequently receive the physical card in your letterbox about 1 week later).

The month your card was approved is the month where the quarter starts. So 1st quarter is Aug, Sep, Oct. The statement date/cycle is assigned by the bank so since you mentioned yours is 2nd of each month, the first statement cycle is until 2nd Sep.

For the 2nd quarter, the first statement cycle should be from 3rd Nov to 2nd Dec, second statement cycle from 3rd Dec to 2nd Jan, third statement cycle from 3rd Jan to 2nd Feb. I am only 90% certain, so maybe others can chime in.
I applied for the credit card in Aug but I just checked through and I don’t seem to have received an sms. Only have SMSes for transactions on my UOB One account.

U use scb for Mac only?

I also looking to terminate once I can hit the lowest tier to claim reward.
Transport is my main spend on my SC smart card. The rest like fast food and coffee places probably once a month only. No subscription services for me too.

Hi master. Pls help me.

so I have recurring bill payment at Keppel. Electric and StarHub through uob one card

If it is $200 at Keppel and $300 at StarHub monthly , will I get cashback ? Cos I also understand telco bill can’t qualify for ‘$500 qualifying spend’. i used the calculator and enter $500 under recurring bill payment category and it show cashback valid

Assuming 5 transaction and StarHub recurring bill.

all discounts and rewards gone for this stupid plan.

dont see any benefit for consumers

even the pay by instalments, will not counted as credit card spend rewards.
The above message in iPhone StarHub thread make me feel stathub bill could be removed from cashback category

anyone can confirm their StarHub and keppel recurring bill got benefit when paid by Uob one card

No, he is wrong. Starhub is eligible, even if you buy and iPhone, and pay over 12/24/36 months (because it is billed together with the bill).
