Best! Get to enjoy another 4 months
but the changes to the rewards for the different categories would still kick in from August... those changes are more significant... e.g. DFI Retail will no longer have cashback except for groceries.

In the month of July,
Tier 1 $500: 5% (only for groceries from DFI Retail Group)
Tier 2 $1000: 5% (only for groceries from DFI Retail Group) + 2.67% (for groceries excluding DFI Retail Group)
Tier 3 $2000: 6.67% (only for groceries from DFI Retail Group) + 4.67% (for groceries excluding DFI Retail Group)

From August onwards,
Tier 1 $500/$600: 0%
Tier 2 $1000: 2.67% (for groceries from DFI Retail Group and groceries outside of DFI Retail Group)
Tier 3 $2000: 4.67% (for groceries from DFI Retail Group and groceries outside of DFI Retail Group)
The above is referring to additional cashback right. Meaning all grocery spend at Tier 1 from 1 Jul 25 still earn the base cashback of 3.33%.

For UOB One card, if my qualifying period is from 1 July to 30 Sept, am i right to assume that the min $600 (for cashback) only kicks in from 1 Oct to 31 Dec?

ie, i can still spend $500 for Jul to Sep and still get the $100 rebate? Thanks!

My qualifying quarter (statement quarter) is May-Jul, Sep-Nov, Dec-Feb. so it means I have to start spending min $600 for my Sep statement month or Dec statement month?

Thanks that means I have to start charging $600 from calendar month Aug for my Sep statement. 🤦‍♀️
nono... your Aug spending can still be $500 but Sep spending will need to be $600 onwards. your spending cycle is from Sep - Nov.

I am confused because my calendar month Aug spending will goes into my Sep statement. If I only start in calendar month Sep then it goes into my Oct statement. I missed the first month of my qualifying quarter Sep-Nov which is based on statement month.

I spoke to UOB CSO asking when I should start spending min $600. They told me I should start in Jul statement, which is clearly incorrect because that means I must spend $600 in calendar month Jun when the new tier 1 is only announced in calendar month Jul and their term state it start from next qualifying quarter from 1 September 2025 onwards.

This makes me even more confused. That is why I am asking if I should start spending min $600 in Sep statement month (Aug calendar month) or Dec statement month (Nov calendar month)?

if like you said your quarterly cycle is Sep - Nov, it means it covers the spending in the months of Sep, Oct and Nov.

don't get confused with the month the statement is received...

look carefully at the end of your monthly statement - what are the quarterly cycles stated?

for mine it is:
*Your qualifying period for quarterly rebates is (1) May to July (2) August to October (3) November to January and (4) February to April

so for me, I only need to start clocking $600 spending from November onwards.

which part of April? early or late April?

if it's early April your cycle should be April - June and you'll get 2 months (prorated) of rebate depending on which tier you're at.

if it's late April your cycle could be May - July and you'll have to clock another $500 this month and you'll see $50 cash rebate on 1 or 2 August.

You go and see your June statement. Should state which months form your quarter.

My qualifying quarter is stated in my statement is Mar-May, Jun-Aug, Sep - Nov, Dec-Feb.

My statement date is on 3rd of every month. Hence 4 Aug-3 Sep for Sep statement, 4 Sep-3 Oct for Oct statement, 4 oct- 3 Nov for Nov statement. Then shouldn't I start spending min $600 from 4 Aug onwards?
