You mean the $150 is used to offset my current bill? And $28.50 is the remainder? Perhaps, I will call the bank to check. The strange thing is, I didn't any sms from uob that the $150 is in, I always get that sms notification previously..

hi guys, am confused with my UOB for this month.

my bill for this quarter (may, june, july), i actually spent $1500 for each month, by right i should be getting $150 cash rebates in my aug statement, however, i dont see this at all, instead i only received $28.50 as UOB ONE CASH REBATE BILL REDEMPTION, are there any changes to the uob one cash rebates?

There is no change. The rebate will be used to offset the bill in subsequent month(s) until the $150 is used up. You only spend $28.50 in the first month after the previous quarter, so only $28.50 awarded so far. The remaining $121.50 rebate will be awarded if you use the card in subsequent month(s), until all the rebate has been used up.

strange thing this time round uob didnt send me any sms notifications regarding the cash rebates..

The SMS only appears when the cash rebate is fully credited.

Check the Rewards Summary of the statement. It should say, "Congratulations! You've been awarded $150 this qualifying period". The earned amount is $150, the used amount is $28.50 and the current balance is $121.50.

Good to know, after using for so long have not been aware of this trap.
Did u encounter any late charge by that experience?

If the uob one cc is already giro for full payment via the uob one account, but managed to hit the required spending in all three months in that qualifying quarter, say 1000 per month for three consecutive months, will the rebate still be given? Or they will also wait till you haven't pay up, then will slowly credit back your rebates to offset your spending?

I believe they will award the rebate for the 4th month onwards first, only need to pay the bill less the rebate on giro
