Bill payments not counted but still can use giro for these to qualify right

I believe the change in T&Cs wef 1 Feb 2018 are referring to the exclusions for cash rebates on card transactions.

GIRO payments to these institutions not affected.

UOB One CC page still state that mobile and broadband bills are counted towards rebates.

Again, rebates and min spends for one card are co-related. If excluded it cannot form part of min spend. Assuming, 450 charity donation (excluded txn) and 50 ntuc spend: doesn't means u hit the 500 min spend and get 3.33% on the $50 ntuc. It don't work like that. It's tiered rebates ($50,$100,$300) quarterly.

The Exclusion List affects the Cash Rebate tier. But are still counted towards the Annual Fee Waiver criteria of minimum 12k annual spend:

You get the 2.43% interest on uob one account. But you don't get the 3.33% credit card rebate every Qtr.

i just called in and there are changes to the eligible txn after 1st feb, they told me road tax and all govt affiliated services are not included for rebates, you can check e new tnc sheet

So SPH, SP services and town councils are ok la. But their postal service is contradictory. Will be replying them on that.
