Insurance still count to card spend for bonus interest though not counted to rebate. Mandatory to meet card spend for bonus interest. Other accounts you can consider are ocbc 360, dbs multiplier and boc smartsaver. See for yourself which ones yield you better interest.

Not for this card, but my OCBC card. Called and asked why no points, and was told is under this MCC. So was ineligible for all rewards at the OCBC side.

Can I just check...for GIRO credit cards...is it possible to waive off the annual fee before the GIRO kicks in?

One reason why I was reluctant to have credit card fees in a GIRO arrangement is due to the lack of control over the deduction of fees (since it's automated).

yes, good consideration, but yes, can be waive before giro, however if giro deducted, it will be credited back.

Not sure if the counter is still open during this CCB period..

Looks like I need to keep monitoring and be fast enough to waive fee/cancel card then hmmm. Coz I heard that usually the crediting back of GIRO deduction seems to take a long time zz.

You worry too much. Did you know that annual fee is charged on statement date while giro deduction is on due date. So roughly almost 3 weeks

Should be closed, but you can pay by SP mobile app. What I like about the payment mode of the app is you can use different credit cards to pay different amount.

Hi all,

Only came to know that uob one card can be used as an ezlink by default.

May I ask if it counts as spending if I tap in and tap out when taking public transport?

And also the simplygo is for using the card via mobile phone?

Thanks alot

Uob one card can be used for Simplygo (tap visa/mastercard for mrt/bus ride). Count as spending. Simplygo is not ezlink. Can tap physical card or tap mobile wallet with uob one card selected as the transport card.

Maybe they consider the current situation, then decide to push back the roll-out of the new T&Cs
