what mcc is shopee pay? TNC nv say exclude. just the additional 5% exclude shoppe pay hmmm

UOB can exclude by transaction name or some other invisible detail.

GrabPay topup used to be same MCC as Grab rides as well, but they managed to exclude it from YOLO card's 8%.

ShopeePay isn't excluded for the regular rebate for now, but I think it's only a matter of time, seeing how Shopee is talking to UOB now.

Believe there's some internal unknown manner UOB can determine based on how they managed to exclude it for Grab before the MCC was changed. Or since they have collabs with Shopee and they work hand in hand on excluding this portion

So if don't meet the spending requirements, can only get 5% rebate from Grab?

Sorry but I only got this card last week and their T&C is not very clear. Don't want to keep using Grab and end up no rebate at all

Thanks for clarifying. Luckily I didn't sign up for Grab, or else I end up paying w/o rebate. Seems like hailing a cab is the way to go

Check under rewards....u should.be able to see 300...

Guess you did not spend in Nov statement, cash back will be redeemed at end of 4th month or later statement to offset subsequent spendings

check the rewards summary section of uob cc statement. If before first statement is generated think best way is to call.

look towards the end of your credit card statement under Rewards Summary - there's a line that says something like this:

Your qualifying period for quarterly rebates is (1) May to July (2) August to October (3) November to January and (4) February to April

I only opened the card in September, so this is my first quarter. I saw $200 in rewards in internet banking, statement with rewards has not generated.

May I know whether the day of month is the same as statement date?

not clear what you asking, but let me try. If the quarter is Aug to Oct, and statement generated on say 5th of the month then the quarter consists of statement months 6Jul-5Aug, 6Aug-5Sep and 6Sep-5Oct. Rebate calculated based on spending posted in these statement month.

I mean the day of the month, in your example, 6Jul-5Aug. is the 6th based on statement date + 1?

My statement date is 18th. so my quarter for Aug to Oct should be 19th August - 18th Oct, right?
