What's an easy way to clock the 500 dollars without actual spending?

My spouse is away in another country and doesn't want to use this card for foreign transactions since exchange rate is bad

Is purchasing ntuc gift voucher still included in 500?
Sheng Siong also can.

I had a grab transaction on 25th and posted on 26th as both are working days. I guess your Grab one should be posted tomorrow since today is PH. If tomorrow not posted, then u will not meet already as the last day of this month is Sunday..

Are transactions posted on PH/weekends? $23 short from my monthly spend Sian…

Got one time, i paid at SPC petrol station at 7pm on the last day of statement month, thinking it would flow over to the next statement month, ended up the transaction was posted on same day instead.

However, since today is public holiday, YMMV.

we can only see what's posted on that day on the day after.. and UOB don't post transactions dated on PH or Sundays.

it's a bit awkward this weekend since:
- UOB will still be posting on Saturday (last possible posted day), but you can only see the posted transactions on Sunday
- if you're short, it'll be too late to spend on Sunday since they don't post on Sundays
- UOB won't be posting today because today is PH
- but if you spend tomorrow at some merchant, it may still be posted on the same day (e.g. SPC, Toastbox as shared by some here)

so... if not confident, just go ahead and spend the few dollars tomorrow at merchants that confirm will post on same day... even on Saturdays.

thanks for the tips... grab usually post in a day and shopee usually 2-3 days. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can see my pending transactions posted by Sunday

Not true. I posted proof from 7-Eleven purchase a few months ago:

yeah long ago already some people were saying like if you see the merchant is using a UOB card transaction reader to do the card tapping/swipping it means it will be processed on the same day if you use UOB card.

turns out.. it's not true.

still dunno when or why some merchants can post on the same day, some next day, some many days later :o it's also not consistent within the same merchant (e.g. Cold storage can range from next day to... a week!)

any idea what are the merchants that can post today for txns done same day?
I've yet to come across transaction and posting dates reflecting on the same day. Giant, Guardian and XNAP transactions have posting on the next day. It is taking chances to meet the minimum spending on T - 3 days.

Hi all,
I received an invitation letter from UOB for their recurring plan promotion to earn vouchers. But looking at the terms, I have question whether my bill will be qualified.

4.b. You must not have made any Transaction prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period;
5.b. "Transaction” refers to a bill payment transaction made with any of the Selected Merchants that is successfully charged and posted to your Card account. Payment made using your Card via AXS or SAM will not constitute a Transaction for the purposes of this Promotion.

So I have this telco monthly bill that I previously switched from UOB One card to another credit card some months ago (I think less than a year), does it matter? Does it mean that must be a bill payment never charged to my UOB card before? The Promotion Period is 20 March 2024 to 30 June 2024.

Many thanks in advance!

Managed to hit my min spend! Thanks everyone for the advice. Spent on ShopBack, grab, shopee, and paid electricity bill, none were posted on the same day.
