Anyone knows if I can charged (and settled the bill) for the card say $1k, and subsequently 2 months later it gets refunded, can I convert the credit into cash?

Or must I use it to offset future bills?

This card still worth getting as i spend slightly over 300 per month on bills, eating, shopping?

Seems like the rebates are better than my posb everyday.

its useful if u constantly spend the right amount for the 3 consecutive months... and note that if u r not keeping track and exceed, the difference which you exceeded does not have any points/rebates.

So you need to ensure u spend 300 300 300 or 800 800 800 or 1500 1500 1500......

There was once I spent 2k, 1600 and 3rd month I thought I will buy something and spend 1500 but in the end I decided to save and in the end spend 400... in the end I got $30 nia.

im too lazy to keep on keeping track of my spending every month.

If i spend 350, 340, 310 I will get $30.00 right, if the last month i spent $900.. i will still get $30.00?

Seems like none of the cashback cards are good deal for the small spender.

the anz travel visa signature? 2.5% refers to e miles redemption? Too bad need min $60k per annum

Yup. If one redeems the miles for cash rebates, it works our to 2.5% cash rebate.

Yes, look carefully at your statment.

It is something like this (off my memory):

"Your qualifying quarters are Apr - Jun, Jul - Sep, Oct - Dec, Jan - Mar. Rebates will be in 1 month after the qualifying quarter."

Something like this.

Yes, that's why you get max of 3.33% if you spend exactly S$300/S$800/S$1500.

If you spend 300, 400, 500, you get effectively 30/1200 which is 2.5%.

This is why I recommend this card for recurring bills which add up close to the qualifying amount. If you use the card for normal purchase, your effective % rebate decreases.
