sama sama.. all my mobile set to recurring liao then realise.. sobz.. donno how to cancel recurring..

after that my broadband then i dont set recurring liao.

You can still pay your bills manually if you have a recurring bill arrangement. It will then act as a fail-safe. Just need to make sure the bill is paid and posted before the GIRO deduction kicks in.

true. but for s&cc fee, cant find on my uob internet banking the link to pay using cc to town council. only found the link of pay from bank acc to tc. this one i may use recurring cc payment form from tc

Three words: Town Council office. :o

I called UOB to enquire on these 2 entries yesterday.... saw the same thing in my statement...

According to the CSO, UOB is attempting to make their statements more transparent with these 2 entries. If you incur any finance charges etc, the entry serves to emphasize on the interest rate being charged at. Since we didn't incur any finance charges etc, the entries are O.

I also called and complained that they are using "shock" tactic ...

Hais so sian. My stupid prudential monthly charge is very near to the cut off date, then every once in awhile they will charge late and end up miss the cut off!

I just lost $70 cause didn't hit the 1.5k mark. Angrrrrrrrrry!

I also check. It's not in my statement either. Maybe I have stopped using the card for sometime. Just started using again.

Anyway for those who do not know your qualifying period, your rebate is posted the next month of your qualiying period.

E.g. If you receive the rebate on 4 Oct 2014, then your qualifying quarter is Jul - Sep, Oct - Dec, Jan - Mar, Apr - Jun.

Let me see if my next statement still has the qualifying period.

Another question. I hit $300 each for 3 months, and get $30 credit in my 4th month statement. If I hit exactly $300 for that 4th month, meaning my final statement is $270, does it "disqualify" me for the next 3 months?

I spoke to CSO, he said the amount considered for rebate is for "amount spend" ($300), not final statement value ($270). Any idea?
