UOB one card

Uob failed to give me the $50 cash rebate when i apply for this red uob 1 card during national day peroid... it already 3 mths plus.. i already received the normal cash rebate for spending over $300 th 3 mths...

but till now nv see the $50 the mention....

I just got my letter for the $50 despite One not being my first UOB card *sshh*

How you guys ensure you hit the min. spending amount for the rebates huh? Some of the months can't hit that amount, what you guys usually do?

HP bills, internet bills, pay for movies/dinner for friends. Sometimes other random purchases.

My one card today kena unofficial online transaction...USD $14.99. Received the OTP-SMS while inside the train, called them up and they advised to cancel the card and issue a new card within 7 working days...

Yup, you can. There are a few other bills you can do recurring too. But to maximise, better to do manually via the telco's online bill payment website.

Did u try to call the hotline to highlight your situation - sometime u may be surprised at what the CSO can do

I missed one due to 1 payment of one lump sum for insurance( need 3 payments per month) for one of the month- I appealed n the rebate was given to me the next statement

Haha I missed once on the 3rd month by one day too and lost $70. Didn't know can try to appeal.. Instead I ended up pushing my statement period to another day later because my stupid insurance keeps charging with a difference of 1-2days every month. =.=

Anyway turns out last month I paid my bill short of $1. I jus realised it when my statement for this month arrived. However, I didn't notice any extra charges levied.. Does this appear like in a following statement or what..?

It'll be funny if I ended up having to pay interest on $1 though..
