Terms Changed + SG50 limited edition card design

Minimum monthly spending tier to qualify for 3.33% quarterly rebates "upgraded" from $300 to $500.. Now is $500, $1000 and $2000

Might benefit some people but some might find it harder to get rebates if nv spend so much..

Spend $2000 per month for 3 consecutive months will get 5% now.

Better than manhattan now.
Just right I cut off manhattan last month.

Last year was also Limited Edition - Red/White card - which expired 2-3 months after issuance and replaced by the normal card again.

Isn't it a waste to have the card for a few months? They should invest in giving even more rebates.

Just sounding off my query. If say my statement date is 7th each month, my quarter starts 7th sep and end 6th dec. For my statement on 7th oct, would posted transactions from 7th sep to 30 sep fall under the new terms?

I clarified with 2 CSOs both give me consistent answer. My "Card Opened Month" is Apr. My first complete qualifying quarter after 1 Oct is Oct,Nov,Dec (not 7th Dec start). First statement for first complete qualifying quarter after 1 Oct is generated on 7th Oct. All the spendings in the statement on 7th Oct, ie posted transactions 7 Sep to 6 Oct, will be given rebate based on the new TnC. The rebate is awarded based on statement date, irregardless transactions are posted before 1 Oct

I certainly hope they are right, if not, it will be a costly mistake :s22:

Guys I realized they suddenly changed minimum spending form 800 to 1000

It's not fair cause last month I spend 800 only!

Do they do this to make people disqualify

They make it start in a fresh quarter after oct.

My quarter is aug sep oct, so new tier kicks in nov statement. Faq gt say.

Yeah think to cut manhattan card too!

I think all spending after Sept statement cut off date must hit 500.

Think it depends on the card opened month. If card opened month is Jan, Apr, Jul or Oct, the first complete qualifying quarter effective after 1 Oct 2015 will be be Oct, Nov,Dec. The statement in Oct will include posted transaction from Sep after the Sep statement.

If card opened month is Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec, the first complete qualifying quarter effective after 1 Oct 2015 will be be Dec, Jan ,Feb. ie spending in the Oct and Nov statement will be under the current TnC, new TnC kicks in only in Dec statement (which includes posted transactions in Nov after the Nov statement)
