Just saw my first $20 in my Jul bill so i guess my 1st quarter was may to jul. I am assuming my next quarter (aug to oct) will still be $300 tier?

Analysis:

Rebate is awarded one month after qualifying quarter.
Card was opened in April, expiry of card should be 04/XX and the first quarter was April, May & June.

Therefore, the next quarter is Jul, Aug & Sep at $300 tier.

check the end of your statement for the actual quarter ("Your qualifying period for quarterly rebates is...."- not guessing

If this analysis is correct, the $500 spending cycle starts Oct (remember u need to start spending in Sept), Nov, Dec

Thanks. Looks like its time to re-submit all my recurring payment forms to my ANZ Travel card in late Sep so hopefully by the time those companies bill me in mid to late Oct, its already set up.

dude - how come i dont see this sentence in my paper card statement ... ??

If you have not been consistently using ONE or fail to hit the minimum tier, no cash rebate will be shown. If no cash rebate is shown, qualifying quarter will not be shown.

Or try to spend wisely an additional $200/month to make it $500.

By the way, is the card expiry date in April?

Thanks. May to Jul 15 is my very first quarter & I have been hitting the minimum spend monthly (as evident from the bonus interest on my One account past 3 months). Will just look out for the rebate in Aug stmt to come end of the month.

Yes expiry april. My expenditure is not high. No point for me to crack my head over how to hit $500. The worst thing one can do is to spend more than needed just for the sake of doing so.

From the new UOB site, is there a place to easily see whether you have hit the 500 SGD spending for the latest month, similar to the OCBC site?

The "Current Statement Balance" refers to the previous month?

I haven't been using to the one card cos of their low rebate previously. With the new changes, I'm keen to shift my expenses back to this card

My statement is on the 15th every month
And my next quarter period for the 5% will be Dec, Jan, Feb
Does that means I should start spending from 15 Nov or 15 Dec ?

what i did was set sms alert for transactions above $1.

just keep and add up the amounts in the sms i get. there are android apps that can do it automatically too.
