so must spend $600 to get $60 rebate.
after 1 month, you can afford to pay that $600 in full and on time??

Must spend min $600 in the month to get the 3% or 8% rebate. Rebate capped at $60. Eg if spend only weekend dining or entertainment for the 8%, need to spend $750 to get $60 rebate. Of course must pay fully next month before due date to avoid having to pay interest.

and after spending $750 to get a $60 rebate, you can and intend to pay the $750 in full and before due date?

and after spending $1000 to get a $60 rebate, you can and intend to pay the $1000 in full and before due date??

Annual salary of S$30K for locals (S$40K for foreigners).

The best way to use this card is to use it for weekend dining/entertainment - 8% cash rebate.

From 30 March to 30 September, charge S$750 for S$60 Rebate (8%)
From 01 October, charge S$1,000 for S$60 Rebate (6%)

I've put together a handy summary on my website if anyone is interested.

iirc, i read somewhere that overseas dining IS applicable.
maybe someone can confirm?

from FAQ:
Do I earn any cash rebate for overseas Dining & Entertainment transactions?Yes definitely!

Be it enjoying a unique dining experience, partying at the most exciting clubs & bars or relaxing at the coolest cafés, enjoy up to 8% rebate locally or around the world. Remember to bring your card along wherever you are!

Not attractive at all to me for the following reasons:

1. Does not have synergy with UOB One Account for greater interest yield.

2. Online spend for travel and fashion ONLY. I don't book hotels and buy airtickets on a monthly basis. And I am way past online fashion shopping. (Bitter lessons of reality when the clothes come in the mail and I realise I don't look like the model on my computer screen).

3. Most attractive rebate of 8% for weekend dining. This will spur even more consumption when a simple fare at hawker centers or cheaper cafes will do just fine. Also forsee friends viewing each other with suspicion as everyone scrambles "to pay first cos not enough cash in wallet".

Dug out this thread and realised not much discussion...

Just got the card. I presume the entertainment include all pubs and drinking places?
