There is a cumulative update dated 5 Aug which included all patches from 29/7 to 5/8. It's about 318 MB. The patch worked fine for me but others have reported it as unstable.

If you are on Win 10 Pro, you have the option to defer the update.

Is this cumulative update replacement for patch tuesday?

Guys, can i verify that when i use the power option > restart in the start menu windows 10 does not restart instantly but brings me to a blue screen with options to exit and continue to windows 10 after i selected that option it will then restart.

ALT F4 restart option works instantly, can anyone verify or do i have a broken installation?

Thanks

It should go to a small screen with open apps and then restart automatically.

Instead of using Power, you can right-click Start to bring up the shutdown menu.

hmm... then it mean there got bugs inside or they now only allow users to select auto update and not selective updates... prevents less security problems but later more problems to users :(

Security updates cannot be deferred. I'm not sure whether this update is classified as security or normal, bit of both.

You can only defer updates on Win 10 Pro.

Clean install windows 10, was playing eurotruck simulator when it crashed. Back in w7, when I crt-alt-del, i can almost always enter task manager to end task. Now though, I cant seem to enter task manager, crt-alt-del gives a black screen with a cursor. The OS has not crashed though, I press my powerdown button and w10 shutdowns the proper way

ctrl-alt-del does not go to Task Manager. It gives you a screen where you can select Task Manager. A black screen with cursor is not normal.

Task Manager has not been useful since Win 8. Process Explorer is better.

I played Eurotruck Sim 2, the game seems to not render properly in Windows 10. Looks like a compatibility issue of the game. Sometimes I will get random triangular polygons rendered on the road, especially when cars drive by me during the morning or evening (rendering issue with sunshafts settings, perhaps?). Need to disable a lot of settings to reduce the occurences of the random polygons.
