if you like Madison Square Eats, you should try n visit one of the Brooklyn Smorgasborg. Great food and nice variety.

Or go apple picking at one of the farms in NJ.

I quite liked Madison Square! If time allows, I'll do Brooklyn though I believe it's not much difference from Madison Square. May or may not go apple picking, will see! Where do you live again?

Oh! It's not chilly to me (temp). It's COLD! I found my tolerance for 19-22C with 2 layer (Shirt+Fleece). Else I'd add a jacket!

I prefer union sq. smorgasborg is bigger and has more variety than madison sq eats which is becoming more n more overpriced.

Also any recommendations for prepaid SIM card (i only need the data plan)? Total will be there for 18 days.

Thanks.

You'll want to have a look at the Navigon GPS apps for your smartphone of choice. That way you don't need to worry about data usage, or about going out of cellphone range; and they're only about fifty bucks for the entire USA.

Back from my NYC trip!

I have a T-Mobile SIM (for USA use) which I got from critical888 over here which expires on the 25th of this month.

Any takers? At my convenience of course.

Hi all,

I'm trying to book the Grand Canyon tour. Anyone has recommendations on the local tour agency to go with?

We have thought through and decided not to drive to Grand Canyon hence will go with the local agency.

At the sane time, which rim is recommended for visit in Nov? The south or the west?

Thanks all in advance for your help!

I have booked with grand-adventures.com for 22nd Oct. I took up the south rim. Their reviews are pretty good so i hope everything turns up well.

Currently in san fran. Weather at its best. Heading to Lake tahoe tomorrow.

Hi Sephix,

I'm also considering this company as it's highly recommended in tripadvisor.

Are you taking the winter sunset tour?

Am contemplating viator tour as well cos they have the jeep tour & IMAX theatre tickets as well.

Therefore coming in here to see whether any forumers have any good recommendations as well.

Do update me of your tour if possible.

Thanks.
