Same lo
For biz class, I just take when traveling on biz
For personal, economy good enough. The difference between economy and biz can use to redeem another ticket

Anyway, Different people different strokes

I am cheap wouldn't use for upgrade since when I travel it's family of 4. Blow usd$8-10k on tickets and get upgrades or save that usd$8-10k, I choose the later end of day it's zero out from my bank lol

Buying iphone (any new phone) in US - some information

These who are going to visit US probably need to know that LTE bands used in US are quite unique (like China) for two main providers - ATT and Verizon Wireless. Your phone bought in Singapore (and for sure iphone) most likely won't work with LTE if you are going to use ATT/Verizon. You will need Sprint, read below.

Here is the list of LTE bands used in latests (starting from 5) iphones:

http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/

If you are planning to buy iphone in US (where it is cheapest in the world), you should look for model which is designed for Sprint if you want to use LTE back in Singapore and in most part of the world. Take a closer look at the link above where you will see that Singtel/Starhub/M1 version of iphones are always Sprint version.

NOTE: 'Sim-Free' version of iphones sold and ordered at stores IS NOT the correct version - it is the same ATT/Verizon version.

Another problem is that you can't order Sprint version of iphone from website because it requires sign up contract with Sprint. You have to find store which has Sprint models in stock. Usually it is not easy.

During my recent stay in Bay Are every day during the week I was going to nearest apple store to see if Sprent version of Iphone SE was anywhere. It was not. Then I left and came back just for one day week later. Fortunately for me exactly that day one store nearby had Sprint model and even more - 64GB version. So snapped it. Came it SGD $738 including, CA tax and 2% currency conversion fee. Note - in Singapore it is 3 week wait time for them and they cost starting from SGD $828.

Hi all,

I have enough miles(about 100K) for a return flight from SG to amsterdam, or I do a SG to NY on economy flight, and a San Fran to SG on a business flight.

I have been to Europe twice, 1st to italy and this year to germany.

I cannot drive. lol.

So I'm thinking to stick to New York, Las Vagas(for grand canyon) and San Fran. is 21 days enough for those 3 cities. If I'm going Im planning 10 days in NY(with day trips to falls, boston and maybe washington), about 3/4 days in Las vegas, about 5/6 in San Fran.

Is it doable without a car?. and How much should i budget for this trip(exclude shopping)

It's doable. You have picked cities that you don't need a car to get around. But 4 days in Vegas and 6 days in SF is too long in my opinion. You can explore the entire LV's strip and the downtown in 3 days using the deuce bus. For SF, about 3 days also. Just get a 3 day MUNI pass which you can use to ride the streetcar and buses to get around.

Spend more time in NYC (7-8 days), Washington (3 days). Haven't been to Boston or Niagara Falls so I can't comment.

Again it depends on what you like to do (city person or the scenery type) and what sort of accommodation you are looking of for your budget.

If you drinker this event at niagara may interest some

We are pleased to announce our upcoming 2016 Limited Edition: Forty Creek Founder’s Reserve.

As the 10th Annual Limited Edition, Forty Creek is excited to introduce Founder’s Reserve – a special, rare whisky and a tribute to our founder, John K. Hall. John was a pioneer in the Canadian Whisky industry and after 10 years of special editions, it is only fitting we pay tribute to his legacy.

Reserving your special bottle

With only 12,000 bottles produced, we are inviting Canadian whisky lovers, like yourself, the opportunity to reserve your own bottle number. You are welcome to choose any number between 3 and 12,000 and can choose a number that is of significance to you – perhaps a birthdate, an anniversary or even a lucky number.

We will be accepting reservations starting June 2, 2016 at noon and they will remain open until 5:00 pm on Thursday, June 16th, 2016.

As always, numbers are being reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to provincial and federal regulations, purchases must be picked up at the distillery in Ontario, Canada. Unfortunately, we cannot ship bottles.

Picking up your bottle at Whisky Weekend

Your special bottle of Founder’s Reserve must be purchased and picked up at the Forty Creek Distillery in Grimsby, Ontario, during Whisky Weekend, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25, 2016.

During Whisky Weekend, not only are you able to have your special numbered bottle signed by John K. Hall, but you are also invited to participate at tastings, tours and other interactive activities at the distillery.

We will share more details on our Whisky Weekend festivities closer to the date.

Tasting notes on Forty Creek Founder’s Reserve

Every year, Forty Creek Whisky releases a new, limited edition expression. Carefully crafted over the years, these expressions are Forty Creek’s true passion projects – collectible, small-batch whiskies that express new elements of our fine Canadian whisky. Each whisky has a taste profile of its own, yet remains characteristically true to the Forty Creek family.

Deep amber in colour with rich aromas of apricot and orange, this limited edition exhibits bold flavours of exotic spice with a long, dry finish. This whisky is an artful blend of rye, corn and barley whisky stocks. Barley is the dominant whisky with rye and corn whiskies added for further complexity. The whisky stocks have been aged from four to nine years in a mixture of both lightly toasted and heavily charred American White oak barrels. Forty Creek Founder’s Reserve is blended and bottled at 45% alc./vol. to impart a bold aroma and flavour profile.

Hi can anyone advise how come I could not access Southwest website? I was able to access it last month.
The message is as follows:
"Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://www.southwest.com/" on this server.
Reference #18.80de9b7c.1463761952.1c282bf"

As I will be going to US in Dec, when is the best time to book for JetBlue or United for flight such as from Orlando to New York?

Heard that there is something like winter discount. Does anyone know when does this discount start?

Thanks in advance

Maybe Southwest started blocking based on ip...Comcast internet provider did the same.

Air tickets is hard to tell when or if they have a sale.
Good way is to look at the price now n sign up for fare alerts.
Kayak.com n other websites can alert u when prices change.

Buy as early as possible, as fares will start to rise as travellers start taking up the seats. My flight from BUF to JFK, booked in Feb, now cost US$14 more per person.

There may be promos closer to ur departure date but would u want to risk seat availability?
