which ways is more advisable? If i take the LA to SF route, should i fly, drive or something else?
Have been reading this thread from Page 1, and mostly about West Coast of US.
Anyhelp on Denver? Will be taggin my friend to Denver for a week next month. he will be going for conference, and I don't know what to do for the whole 8 days there!
Will be flying over to NYC after that. Is it advisible to drive from NYC to Niagara Falls or just take a flight ?
Thanks!
also, those domestic flights, diddn't know beforehand that each checked-in baggage, have to pay 30usd/baggage.
should be 30usd if i'm not wrong, or around there.
Southwest comes with 2 FREE check in bags, each not exceeding 25kg I think... on top of that, you can still carry on board those small size luggages! I se most of the local dun carry much when they fly domestics as they are usually on business or short visit. So the airlines are not very particular with the luggages.

oh, it's Free sitting on board btw... so check in early to be able to board first.
u're referring to the State's side of Niagara Falls right? flight less than 1 hour... driving will be longer i guess?

Driving ard 7hrd, like from SG to Penang... think I better take flight, USD140 return. and I can't cross over to Canada due to my non-SG passport![]()
Hi, any recommendation for affordable (< ~S$250) & accessible hotels in NYC?
I booked JetBlue flight it also asked me to choose my seats.. Anyone who took JetBlue can clarify about this issue?
Does anyone know if I want to get the prepaid sim cards with data at NY, is it micro sim or normal sim? Also if I travel to other places like Orlando or Boston can still use or need to buy new one? Thanks!
Some places (ie factory outlet) would require a proof of identity when using credit card, it has become my habit to give ID + credit card when buying stuff. Not all places requires that.1. Using SG issued credit card in US, they will need the name on the card match your passport. Is this true?
Flights to/from US has a baggage allowance is 23kg per bag limit, with a 2 bag limit, more bags if you have *gold / PPS. SQ lets you pass if your 2 bags do not exceed a total of 46kg, I just flew back with like a 30kg bag and 1 light item, no extra charge, might not be true on other carriers.2. Coming back from US on SQ, they charge USD148 once you exceeded the alloawance check-in baggage weight of 20kg. Is this true? Is so hard not to exceed![]()
Can any kind soul confirm this :-
