Just get s car with gps from car rental company. Those custom made gos are easy to use. Otherwise load your phone with some offline map.
I am using the Hertz Neverlost GPS now (did not request for it, but the rental car came with it), not a big fan of it, rather use google maps on the phone, unless there is really no reception for data, then that GPS comes in handy. The touchscreen isn't calibrated properly, entry of destination address is still the same laborious process as ten years ago. No traffic information means the shortest route might not be the fastest route.
Was travelling from San Diego to Vegas, the Hertz GPS asked me to go I-15 -> I-215 -> I-15, when travelling on I-15 all the way is the easier route instead of changing of freeways, supposedly, by the GPS, this is like 10 minutes faster. Google maps simply shows I-15 all the way.
Hi all,
I am going to the US in early November period and staying in Anaheim area (bringing my kid to Disneyland)
Considering 2 days of shopping also….is there any outlet or shopping malls nearby Anaheim worth going? Hope those that have some itinerary can share abit more with me as I am doing some planning now.
I remember transportation to shopping malls by taxi are expensive….family of 4 cost USD$70-80 one way to the citadel outlet previously when I went in 2011.
Does SG license make it easier to drive on US road as well? GPS along with rental, will it be easy?
There's this "The Outlet" Mall nearby, seems to be a small semi-outlet place, but not so much of the branded stuff, I might be going back to check on more stuff and will report back. I'm staying in Anaheim right now, I-5 is undergoing extensive roadworks and the jams on I-5 can be quite bad.
