No recession yet because the AI-led capital spending + record Federal deficit spending is still ongoing.

Side-effect is job loss now is primarily due to AI replacing labour, while ICE crackdown on illegals is cutting labour supply. Since the two counteract each other, there is no labour recession, but frozen job market.
