When I entered at 2nd link they had us all move to the 2nd building because the first building has some construction work, so all had passports stamped when going in.
But when I left, I left by egate. So now I have an entry stamp and no matching exit stamp. What do I do now?

Nothing to worry or need to do. Just carry on travelling

It's not and it's not a big deal. The 2nd link is actually between Johor and Tuas.

2nd link e gate is working but I think manual counter as fast.
Wah, 2nd Link whenever meet tour groups really is suay. Stupid guide didn't even brief them about use of eGates, if they could or not, that a group of them caused unnecessary delay by stubbornly wanting to try.

Then back over at Tuas, another group kena buak by officer coz they walked into the immigration hall and tried to approach the eGates with their multiple bags but no passport in their hands. "You should get your passports ready before you come in!"

can singaporean now use egate from penang airport?
PEN Airport E-Gate section is closed ... maybe for upgrading. The E-Gate there are very old.

So maybe after that they may open up for visitors to use.

hi, my old passport recently expired and I have since got a new one. Will I still be able to straight away use the Malaysia E-gate? Do I still need to proceed to the counter to register again?

I have try registering the MDAC and it is showing "You are not eligible to use the e-gate facility. Please proceed to the manual counter." even after I received the confirmation email..

Having used the MY eGates, then changed to a new passport, now the usability becomes "no one can tell you until you go try it yourself".

Go to the eGates. If not successful, no choice but to head to the manual counter to check with them.

Different passport numbers with the same name, could be one of the reasons, if fail. Then go see what they can do for you.

Probably like SG's Protocol ie cannot use E-Gate for the first time, so must go manual first.

Quoting a news report regarding SG's QR System:
As for first-time foreign visitors and those re-entering Singapore using a different passport from their previous trip, they will need to present their passport for immigration clearance.

Tried using my phone's QR code on the returning trip yesterday and yes, it worked. But I still don't see any significant improvement like in time taken, except maybe to lessen the wear and tear rate of our 10-year passports.

And the irony of facing a "no usage of phones" sign while leaving...
