Even if Senai has it is unlikely you can use them, as for SG (& few other citizens) can only use E-Gate in JB's land crossings & KL Airport.

About MACSv02 for flying to PEN

I enquired at JB CIQ, about if I fly from SG to PEN, am I able to use the E-Gates at PEN. He said no, E-Gates only at JB.

This one no issue. I did SG-KL-SG KLIA, so airports no issue for KL. Just Penang cannot apparently.

You can register at any manual counters. Just tell the officer you had filled up the online form for the egate registration.

No one has shared omitting submission of MDAC for MACSv02...you may be the first to report successful or not.

Queued for 3 h 15 min on Thu to register for MACS v2. Broke my own record for queuing to enter or exit JB. Plus there was even a network problem at the counter, must have made those at the front of queue pek cek. Heng it's a common error that's resolved quickly enough.

When this happens, an extra officer or 2 will be activated to convert the MACSv2 counter to a manual chop one, until the network error is resolved.

When you reach the front of the MACSv2 counter, don't just hand over passport. Need to handover a hardcopy of your mdac or pass your hp over to show it on screen.

Twice when I registered to use e-gates under MACSv2. This past round when I queued 3 hours and the last round when I queued 45 min.

You cannot use MDAC...You must have submitted MDAC & use E-Gate, correct?

Bus Zone, Entry & Exit Counters closed by phases from 16Jan to 07Feb.

No details what counters will be impacted but based on previous upgrading notification application for MACSv02 will be affected.
Better wait for input from those going during that period or you can still go next week to apply.
