new vertu signature S cost aroudn 17,500 if i am nt wrong... the nicest looking vertu ever
I don't think it will fetch much.. the technology for the old signature is quite dated, even for vertu phones.
I just saw pictures of the Ascent Ti Damascus Steel.. its quite ugly IMO.. I still prefer the classic Ascent Ti.
I've shelved plans to get the new Signature S.. settled for another Ascent Ti instead:

This one comes with brown leather and a lighter coloured ceramic pillow and LCD border than my old one.

Bro, I'm ready to commit an Ascent Ti very soon. Is the price still 9.8k?
Which outlet do u normally go to? Tks!![]()

First impressions:
Being a candy bar form factor the phone feels very solid and heavy in the hand, more or less the same weight as the Arte I had before. Other than the screen and the earpiece pillow area the phone is not really a fingerprint magnet at all. Buttons have satisfying clicks to them and are generally comfortable for texting. Only gripe I have is the joystick which is extremely stiff to operate. My thumb is getting bruises already. Hopefully it improves with time.
Sound from the loudspeakers are impressive. Loud and crystal clear especially with the built-in ringtones. No static even at max volume. I would say they are a few notches better than the Arte and Aura.
Haven't really tried out the 3.2mp camera yet but I would expect to be the same as the Arte, i.e. not fantastic
Nothing much to comment on the software. The OS is a modified Nokia S40 software, almost an exact copy of the Arte. Even the backup files from the Arte can be restored onto it using the PC Suite.
Copied from Vertu source 'There is a jeweled ruby bearing behind each key so it sounds better and feels smoother than any button you have ever pushed'.
Bro, congrats on your wonderful purchase on this masterpiece! Surprised that this thread was digged out, in I came and out I found, 2 beautiful Vertu phones right 'in front' of my eyes - brown (luiguoyi bro) and black color (yours).
Damn chio man. I tell myself and my wife after seeing the pics, I wanna own a Vertu before I die in this lifetime of mine!! Financially for me, based on what is left per month after deducting household expenses, baby expenses, car expenses, everyday expenses, it'd take me 2 full years before I can cough out $10.5k lol![]()
Jumpman, any bluetooth headset? When you're free, care to post the interior of the phone with the battery taken off? Curious how it looks like within.

No bluetooth headset in the package. In fact it has very minimalistic accessories: charger, data cable and a piece of cleaning cloth. That's it. Everything is kept within 2 suede boxes.

As for the ruby bearing keypad, well I think only the Signature S series and some of the limited editions have it.I tried the Signature while I was there at the boutique, simply wonderful keypad feel man! But then, cheapest Signature also need S$18k. Woot! ... maybe when I strike toto first lor.
Some comments on the battery life. Similarly to the Arte the phone can normally last 2 days in a single charge, perhaps also due to my usage which is considered light to moderate.
I remember long long time ago I also told myself one day I'm going to own a Vertu and now I really did it. Took me a while to gather the funds. Fortunately me and my wife don't have a lot of financial burdens yet like ermmm...e.g. kids which definitely helps in sustaining my rather expensive hobby.![]()
