hokkien is tai yu to them ma, same same..... a lot taiwanese send to vietnam work too open factory......

actually BT goldsmith there,i feel their rate getting lousier and lousier.
i prefer going to this goldsmith and change
near 102 Cống Quỳnh, Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh...
Sometime they will bend down to let you see some "scenery", not like the lao auntie in BT so sianz 1... :D

haha tat was last time few years back when went hcm for the 1st time ...
now is my 5th time going there soon lol ...
already know what to do there lol...
relax relax relax lol ...

not much shopping unlike in bangkok lol ...
hotel there even 4* sometimes also have difficulties understanding english.
Dede must be v rich, always see u fly Vietnam, bkk, taiwan, hk and many many places. Envy. Haha

I agree shopping wise, bkk is better.

In the street you won't get 200, 500 notes but in supermart, due to the way they priced their products, you will get. It's really useless of those notes. They should just round up or down to the nearest 1k.

way more than enough...Just change $250 first.If not enough then change a bit extra...If change too much,you will end up a lot of dong back.

talking about tips
have went to 3* hotel in hcm,
we gave them about 3 sgd tips for carrying our luggages
he said why so little =.=

even 5* hotel we gave that amt, they also no make noise.
however normally stay in singapore 4 5* hotel, no give tips ...

highest tip i gave was 100K to a tourist guide. also gave a compulsory tip 50k to a cyclo rider.

don't mind giving tips if service is good. but i will never give tips in AMDK country cause they their minimum wage is so high and they like to yaya papaya.

go to pham ngu lao ya .... there more crowded right normally, ok lar i like go taiwan nothing bad to say of taiwanese haha

have only seen 200k and 100k quite commonly
haha have been to hcm for 4th times ...
going hcm soon again :)

you also give tips in sgd ar :eek: i ask my papa why he give tips in sgd, he tell me give them any money they also wan :eek:

i tip the tour guide and driver 100k each for a 2d1n private tour trip :s22:

cyclo rider got such thing as compulsory tips ? no wonder i gave him $2 sing he like buay song like that:s22:

Good ones lah, normal ones maybe 50k.

i see those sinkie from most of my tour never give tips huan le :s13::s13::s13: bus door open all run out together with amdk .... then those korean will try act blur say dont know english
