Hi! would like to ask for the sinhtourist recommended by you all here:), are their tour packages good for other locations other than hcm? such as hanoi, sapa, hoi an etc or are there better deals? Thanks!
Most of the tour from middle part if Vietnam are outsource to other company according to one of the staff I chat with ... but don't worry sinh tourist got a "good" reputation :) whenever I ask the hotel staff or tour guide about sinh tourist, their eyes will light up one

According to my wife, sinhtourists may be oversold or over recommended, not all their tours are good, and could be much more expensive compared to others and itinerary not as good. For our last yr's day tour to Mekong, we didn't take theirs, as my wife used to be in hotel line in hcmc and she can tell the itinerary is very normal and overpriced. Hence we go for other agency, cheaper and better.

Then what r the recommended tour agencies in hcm? The hcm sinh tourists office is always full of people, really good business. The rest, i don't see much crowd

Alright guys, a very short update from me. Been very busy the past few days Haha. Decided to change tactic and told the locals the truth that we were from Singapore from thur onwards which made a huge difference as suddenly the locals were much nicer and friendly to us. We even managed to make friends with several British, Italian and Filipino expats here who brought us to their favourite pubs at night. There was also an instance where a few of the Vietnamese were playing chapteh on the road at 11+pm who after seeing us observing them asked us to join them. The cai be & vinh long tour + cao dai temple & Chu Chi tunnel tour by sinhtourist was superb. The guides were amazing as they knew their stuff really well and were very friendly too. Shot 10 bullets of Garand M1 yesterday. Today's free and easy in Ho Chi Minh City, not sure where to go yet Haha. Other than wed's incident, I didn't encounter any unpleasant incidents yet. Loving my trip in Vietnam!

We, or actually my wife, checked out a few by going thru the itinerary in details and found Sapphire Travel to be good and reasonable price. For group tour to 1D Mekong, include lunch, hotel pickup, each is VND180K (~SGD10/11).
