If transit at Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Airport (SGN) for about 6 hours , can go for City short trip ?
the travel time from airport to city (assume Quan 1) alrdy take abt 40 min considering the traffic condition, 2 way u need to cater about 2hrs to be safe, plus u need to check in 1hr beforehand. 3hrs gone.

so you have roughly about 3 hours for city tours, so theoretically is possible, but perhaps u need to think u want to go sight seeing, food explore, shopping before u can plan for ur short tour.

plus u need to check in 1hr beforehand.

no need to check in again if you already have the boarding pass for the connecting flight and your luggages are checked thru. just need to make sure you can reach the boarding gate in time before they close :)

if traffic is bad, hop onto a xe om :)

uber moto from new world hotel to tan son nhat costs 42k dong which is less than $3!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for transport from Saigon airport to Mui Ne by private car.
Anybody know any reliable local driver/company that can provide such service?
Or should I just book from the counters when I arrive?
Appreciate any info thanks! :)

Sgd is widely accepted in money changers in Vietnam
No worries.

widely accepted, good rates in sai gon, lousy rates outside sai gon. the stationmaster at hue train station refused sgd when i ran out of dong and needed to board the next train urgently.
